Ch.Two

Bomi back to her friends after helping and had a little chat with baekhyun. Sensing unpleasant expressions on her friends, Bomi just can't help to ask them.

"What?" Bomi raised her eyebrow.

"Why were you talking with him?!" Hayoung asked

"Why can't I do that?"

"You know his nickname right?!" Eunji asked

"I know, but it's not like..." she got interrupted by the announcement about couple dance.

"Now, just get ready to dance", Bomi said to Eunji and Hayoung, "Your princes already heading here"

Eunji and Hayoung turn around and saw their crush heading to their place, and they can't help but to put a big smile on their face.

"You better not think our conversation was over. I need to talk some sense into you so that you're not gonna do thing like that again", Eunji whispering before her crush take her to the dance floor.

What's with the fuss, it's not like It's the first time I help someone in trouble, Bomi thought to herself.

Bomi looking at her friends and they gesturing their hands to ask her join the dance. Bomi just waving her hands signaling she does not gonna do that and mouthing 'no partner' to them. Bomi just enjoy the sight of her friends and their partner getting ready to dance. They look so happy even when they just doing nothing but standing face to face, she smile and about to turn around when someone suddenly pat her shoulder.

"Oh God, you startled me!" Bomi said after looking at the person who pats her shoulder.

"Now you know that was me could you please let go of my hand.. It hurts!" the man said with painful looks.

Bomi realized that she kinda twist his hand because she startled earlier.

"Sorry.. That was my reflect.. What makes you came here anyway? Don't you have a job tonight?"

"I do! And actually I'm in the middle of working when Eunji texted me you were in trouble."

Bomi confused and try to take guess why Eunji saying that thing. As she can't find the answer, "I'm sorry, Kyung, but I'm fine, and I didn't get into any trouble today. Maybe Eunji just joking because you said you can't leave your job tonight. You know, she was upset because she told you about this party long ago before you accepted your job for tonight."

"That girl, seriously! If only she's not your best friend, I'll glad to give knock to her head.."

"Oh please Kyung, like you can do that to her. She'll catch your hand and knock your head instead like last time", Bomi said with a little laugh.

"That time I'm not serious Bom", Kyung answered while flick her forehead playfully.

"Ah!" Bomi groaned, and turn to her left side so she can do the same thing to Kyung. But then Bomi stop when she saw Baekhyun standing not far from her, holding two drinks at his hands.

"Oh..", Bomi unconsciously say that.

"What?", Kyung asked

"Oh..? Hmm.. Nothing", Bomi cleared her throat. "You don't have to go back to work, Kyung?"

"No, I already said that I'll be back tomorrow with my full report. Besides, I need to ask Eunji about her prank today.."

"Oh.."

"Your respond makes me think you didn't want me to stay here, Bom"

"What? No.. Really", Bomi thinking why she responds like that, "It's just that I'm worried you actually had important things to do", Bomi explained while take a glance to her left side.

Kyung noticed that Bomi's mind it's not completely with him right now. He didn't bother to ask her because he just knows Bomi so well. He pretend to ask when the party over as he know he can make a reason to leave as the party will over about an hour.

"An hour?" Kyung sigh, "should I take a leave now...", Kyung pretend to talk to himself by whispering, but he makes sure that loud enough for Bomi to hear.

Bomi heard that and start to feeling sorry because he came here thinking she was in trouble. She couldn't ask him just to go home, because she worried Kyung will think she really want him to leave. She guess that left her one option now, "Kyung, let's just go home.. I think I'd enough for today..", Bomi said with heavy tone.

Oh wait, it's not supposed to be like this. I forgot this girl always thinking about other person first. Kyung then answered, "No, you stay here and make sure to give Eunji your best flick move if she really just prank me today. I like to see her red forehead for a while." Kyung laugh, "Besides, I'm not going home right now. I need to survey the place for my campus performance. So, you just stay here and go home with Eunji and Hayoung after the party over."

Strangely enough Bomi felt so relieved after she knows she can stay at the party. And another strange thing is, she can't help but staring at Baekhyun and keep thinking who is his company because he held two drinks right now. Bomi think that'll better if she just go back to her seat, but last thing she know she goes to where Baekhyun at and calling him.

"Baekhyun-ssi"

Baekhyun jumped because he surprised that Bomi call him. He quickly turns to his left side and saw Bomi standing there. He wants to answer her, but because his heart is beating so fast right now, he just muttered words without sound.

"I'm sorry to surprise you. But Baekhyun-ssi, I can't read lips, so I don't know what you were trying to say", she smile at him.

Oh God, she shouldn't have smile like that. How am I supposed to stopping my heart from beating so fast if she smiles like that? Baekhyun then just offer drink on his hand, again without saying a word.

"Oh, thank..." Bomi didn't complete her sentence but screaming instead, "woaahh..."

Baekhyun release his grip on the glass before Bomi can properly hold it, so the drink spilled over Bomi's dress.

Oh 'clumsy king' Baekhyun, now you just messed up your one lifetime chance! Baekhyun cursed himself.
