Some summer days are pretty damn wild. Nights, even more. Something about the heat, the sunlight, and those still moments in time where you just feel peacefully alone. Summer sickness has done crazy things to people. Imagine that, only multiple times grander. A vast and wild place where the forces of the ocean are sovereign. A free place not controlled or governed by man.
A realm where fantasies can become realities.That realm is The Pacific.
Buck and Stephanie left the west coast and passed Hawaii. They had made it two days west of the last land they'd see for nearly two thousand nm.
Late that night, as the couple were asleep in the belly of the ship, a wind started blowing. The northeasterly blew for a while then little snaps and flashes of sound and light echoed across the ocean. The wind continued in gusts that rocked The Cali Queen. Large swells crashed about them. Before long, a full fledged storm was apparent. Thunder boomed and wicked bolts of lightning struck the water here and there. The wind and the rain roared together as the stormed raged on.
Summer had sent them a surprise...
