Drowning in your Eyes

Chapter 9

Alec POV

I was crying my little heart out.

The fact that both Dean and Alexa, and even his evil father, who got twisted to horrible ways,  had to go through such a loss of a fantastic mother, it just was so, oh gods it is heartbreaking. Nothing I could ever relate to! I didn't even know how to respond other than cry.

To me it's like a movie, it doesn't happen, but I'm just lying to myself, it surrounds us and I still just don't believe it, I can't believe it, I just float around in a bubble just thinking maybe even wishing and hoping this isn't possible. I just kept hugging the life out of him. I finally calm down and give him a quick kiss on the forehead.

"I am so sorry, I just, I, I didn't think...and I just...I am so sorry."
"Hey, it's okay. I never told anyone about this and it feels kinda good to talk about it" he replied with a smile.
I just hugged him again, not knowing what to say. He was so strong and beautiful, but unfortunate, if only things could be better for him, gods he doesn't deserve this! As sad as I am it slightly angers me I guess, because he is such an angel.

"You know what? As hard as it is, that is the past and I am going to make your future and Alexa's future a lot more bright and fun. I want you to be happy and free of pain, both mentally and physically. I promise to keep you forever safe. Okay this has been a little intense, I'm not gonna lie, but starting right now everything will be better."
I hugged him again and gave him a quick kiss "Okay how about you, me and the girls go to the park? Lets go have some fun." He simply nodded a yes in response.
"GIRLS? WANT TO GO TO THE PARK?" 

Yet again I hear the heavy thuds of children running, but to my surprise it was just Erza was bolting down while Alexa was getting a piggy back ride. Aren't they little cuties. Alexa jumped off and held tightly onto Erza's arm while smiling widely. They are awfully close, I'm glad they are friends so quick, it makes me happy.

We quickly got ready and of course just as we are about to so much as touch the door handles two little loud pixies scream WAIT!

"What?"
"Can we bring the dogs?" me and Dean of course agree and nod in response.

"Go on go get them ready and then we can take them along with us." The girls jump up and down and run to go get their leads on.

Finally we leave and we all head towards the park the girls happily skip ahead of us not to far, all of us seems pretty very happy, except for Dean. He just walks with us, his head down, not saying much. Hmmm, I have an idea, I might fall but I said he will have a happier future, I promised that and I intend to keep that promise! I sneak around him and then jump on his back. Of course he is confused and almost dropped me, but he got his balanced and held on to me.

"What are you doing Alec?" I shrugged, not that he could see. I thought about it, he still seemed unfazed. I know Pierce the Veil his number one band. Okay, this might be slightly embarrassing, but oh well, for Dean!

"I'M GONNA HOLD YOUR HAND SO TIGHT I'M GONNA BREAK MY WRIST, AND WHEN THE VULTURE SINGS TONIGHT, I'M GONNA JOIN RIGHT IN." He began to laugh at my sudden outburst and quietly hummed while I belted it out. My singing was horrid, but I could tell I was making him happy, which made me happy.

"Hey, sing with me. We can sing King for a Day, I'll be Kellin. Like, I can totally match his voice. I swear we are, like, twins." I said, normal at first until I turned into a stereotypical teenage girl with an over exaggerated voice. He began to laugh wildly. Oh gods his incredible laugh was like music to my ears. I swear this boy will be the death of me, I'm falling for him hard!

"DARE ME TO JUMP OFF THIS JERSEY BRIDGE" Wait what oh shit
"I BET YOU NEVER SEEN A FRIDAY NIGHT LIKE THIS"

We continue to sing until we make it to the park. The girls ran on to the playground and Dean put me down then ran to the swings. No one was around so I just let the dogs free, they were trained enough they would come back if we called, so no need for worry, plus they are adorable and everyone loves them. Funnily enough they ran over to the girls and played with them, I just smiled. Maybe we should come here more often, or at least once a month.

Yes! That's what we will do. All of us, it will be our special outing.

"ALEC COME GIVE ME A PUSH" I looked over at Dean, who was frantically gesturing for me to come over. I looked at him and shake my head while giving him a smile, he was almost, what? 17? 18? Oh jeez, I don't even know how old he is or his birthday, jeez I'm horrible. I'll have to ask Alexa. Anyways, not important. I ended up walking over towards Dean and just cross my arms and look at him.

"PLEASE! Alec, come on, I haven't been pushed in ages pleASEEEEE!" I just begin to laugh at his inner child, he was so adorable. I give in to his cuteness and begin to give him a push as he yells to go higher, he is so much like a child. I just smiled at this beautiful boy before me, he made me really happy. I just don't even understand how I got so lucky. I stopped pushing and sat on the swing next to him and watched him go high back and forth, he's so happy. I really hope to see that beautiful smile all the time. He just looked to the skies and continues to smile and laugh at everything. He was truly incredible.

Okay so we all know that it has been long overdue, but I was going through stuff and also school, with end of year exams and already freakin homework for year 12.... which still need to be done but is left untouched, haha, but I'M ON HOLIDAYS! I will be writing way more, I have only a few planned but all is good, this story will go on and maybe soon I'll also add more books, who knows.

Also I would like to mention another person on here who deserves lots of love, bandlover198, we have been messaging and she has been so incredible and kind to me, and she is an incredible author, actually both of them are, just love these people, okay, they deserve it and much more, they are so amazing and awesome!
