"Sorry, I figured you knew. Me and Victoria always go around this time. But mom I need you to wire me money. you see... its a funny story..."
'I swear Leona what did you do this time? If you are in jail again I swear!'
"No its just that.. I'm in Arizona and I need money to get back."
'-... I cant do this no more. You know I'm broke, rent is coming up I cant. Your not gonna be my problem in two weeks anyways.'
"Fine mom, leave me just like grandpa did to you!! Ill come and get my shit later, I'm glade you can finally live your life without a burden like me!!!"

My chest felt like it was burning and so did my eyes. How could she leave her own daughter stranded? Ive done stupid stuff but never anything that caused her much stress. Yes I went to jail twice but they were for being out after curfew so they took me in. I put my palms to eyes and pressed down with slight force, this helped me from not crying. I took a few deep breaths, my breathing becoming shallow. It never took me long to cool down, but I think that's because I used to have anger issues and learned to calm down easily or I would go on a rampage.
I heard the scraping of cement as someone grew closer. I looked up to see Ronnie looking refreshed after the extra 2 hours we slept after we woke up.
After I got out of the bathroom the boys said they were still tired so they said I either sit by myself in the living room or go to sleep again. Ronnie offered to let me sleep with him but I declined so he cleared one of the extra bunks and let me sleep there. I of course didn't fall asleep right away. I was trying to process all that was happening. I laid there thinking about what I was gonna say to mom and Vivi. The thoughts kept swirling in my head til I nodded off into dream land. when I woke up for the second time that day, We had stopped off at a gas station so I asked if I could use Jacky's phone.

Ronnie smiled and gave a small nod. I gave him a shy smile, I still was uncomfortable with this all. "So were you talking to your guardian or what ever?"Ronnie questioned
My face flinched with pain when I said"yeah about that my mom wont send me money,..but you can leave me here I can get some friends to pick me up...oh and sorry for being a burden."
Ronnie looked and his boots and kicked something that was not there. A long silence passed between us before he said" How old are you?"
I looked at him puzzled "Eighteen"I said. "Great, so we can hire you as a live in maid."he relied.
"Wait what? Its OK I can make it back.." I was gonna finish but he interrupted." Do you have prier engagements?" I nodded "I start collage in a few months." he grinned " You don't seem like the kind of girl that goes to collage more like the free spirited kind but Ive been wrong before. Well in a few months we will personally escort you back to Texas, but for now you are going on tour with us. All expenses paid, just clean, get us food and be apart of the band."
I hesitated for a little while. These guys were weirdos but I thought what the hell, in a few months I will go back to studying.
"Fine but I have conditions...
One you can not leave me or ditch me...
Two i must be back on time...
And Three treat me like a guy, do what ever y'all usually do i can hang, trust me."i grinned at what i said and shook Ronnie's hand.
