My life on the bus wasn't that fabulous as you would think. Its been a few days since the last commotion. We are still on are way to L.a, but it seems to take more time then I would have thought. I think its because we keep detouring and every city we hit the guys have to get off and cite see, they are taking their time because it will be a few weeks before they have to be in Europe. They are nice and try to invite me but Jacky ends up going so I decide to stay behind. Also due to me being broke, knowing me I would love to shop every where I go but its best not to tempt myself. I don't want Ronnie paying for me because hes done enough for me I couldn't take no more.
I had to do something. These past few days Ive been doing nothing. Then it hit me. The guys are gone at least 3 hours not to mention sometimes they stay the night getting lucky (wink wink). Ron and Ryan usually do 'it' in the bus. I take off because I don't want to know how they accomplish that task, and i don't even want to know were.(i would be disgusted touching anything) Derek usually gets drunk at a local club, so Jacky and Ronnie accompany him. Anyways the point is I had plenty of time doing odd jobs. I pulled out my phone and went to craigslist. Like hell was i gonna depend completely on Ronnie. The first post i saw was perfect.
'Yard work needed. Need the yard mowed and cleaned. 75 dollars for the whole job. Not a big yard need it done before tomorrow. I will supply equipment
I called up the ad and luckily they still needed the job to be done, and it was walking distance from where I was at. with that I stormed out and headed that way.
Ronnie :We were in Yuma, Arizona. Not the greatest places to be. It had rocks....that's all. Me and the guys were heading back to the bus. I was worried about Leona. I kept inviting her but she would say no its fine and go back to doing whatever. I had to admit, hiring her was a great idea. The bus is always clean, when I gave her money to buy food she didn't just buy milk and stupid munchies. She bought stuff we could actually eat. Not to mention shes real cool. She could have been a fan girl about everything but she just smiles and waves off the guys obsessive flirting. i kinda think that's weird. Most girls would be lining up to get in our pants but she acts like we are the last possible option. definitely a interesting girl.
Me and the guys got back to the bus and when we went in Leona wasn't in there. i could tell Jacky had this victorious look on his face. The others looked confused and panicked.
"where did she go?"Derek asked
"hope shes gone"Jacky scoffed. Derek gave him a glare then walked to the back to check if shes there. i shrugged and plopped on the couch. There was no contract saying she could never leave. Just a agreement, she got housing and transportation plus benefits for cleaning. "Maybe she wasn't happy here, her first day was a very unpleasant experience. i said directing to Jacky even though he ignored me.
"Maybe she just went out, we usually never come back this early. She probably does this a lot."Ryan said before he pulled out a beer from the fridge.
"yeah shes probably fine."i said nonchalantly and flipped on the TV.
A few hours passed it was dark. Jacky convinced me to go to a bar with him while the other guys stayed at home. Derek said he wasn't comfortable with this. Hes such a worry wort. He said she could be dead in a ditch for all we knew.
The bar was quit, there were a few old men drinking their sorrows away and a few cougars flipping their hair and smiling at us. Me and Jacky just sat down and ordered a beer. The bartender looked old and worn out, the Arizona sun seemed to beat down on him regularly.
"Are you worried about that girl?"
i took a swig of my beer then replied "no shes not my responsibility,also we never had a firm contract."
