<Third Person POV>

What was this feeling?

You ended up finding the piece of slip in Feli's pasta stash IN THE KITCHEN. Go figure. You walked all around the house and found it where you've started. The slip read,

"Ah, I never thought you would find it here~

'Yo-yos are really fragile,

They're really hard to handle."

This was when the students at your elementary school all got really cheap yo-yos, and Feli's broke. You gave him yours, and he still has it to this day. You ran to the school property.

~Time-skip~

There it was. The last slip near the tulip garden at your elementary school. You and Feli used to water them everyday. It read,

"This is the last one, ve~

'Uncle Tom's tree. Meet me there."

The last year of middle school. The three of you (You, Feli, and Lovi) carved your names on the trunk of the tree which you called 'Uncle Tom'. You had to then rush down the forest to your last destination.

~Le Time-skip~

There he was. On the branch of Uncle Tom.

"Feli!" You dashed, as he came down from the old tree.

"Ve~, you're finished!" Feli came to hug you in a tight squeeze, he never knew that it would've killed someone.

"And... What am I supposed to do now?" You asked, the game was over.

"Ah, I wanted to say happy birthday to you! And line those slips you have." You lined them sideways, and you noticed the hidden message.

'I-Lov-E-Yo-U'

...

"Wait, Feli, weren't you dating with (girl name)?" You remembered the letter in his room that you've secretly read.

"Huh? Who's (girl name)?" He had a question mark above his head. Come to think of it, you're the one who opened the envelope, which means that he hasn't read it.

"Oh... Never mind." You looked down, twiddled your fingers, flustered.

"It's a-okay~" He then gave you a small peck on the lips.

You had something to brag about when your family members were home.

~Extended Ending~

You brought Feli, your new boyfriend, over to your house to introduce him.

"I'm home~" You said as you opened the door, and...

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY (name)!" Crackers were pulled, and confettis were everywhere. There stood your dad and older sister.

"Wait, you remembered my birthday!?!?" You were pretty surprised, you never thought that they would do this.

"Yeah, of course! We just hadn't got the time to celebrate it." You dad stated.

Happy tears rolled down your cheeks as you dragged Feli in.
