Me and Liam arrive at the hospital. Mary is in room 239 on the second floor. The elevator is dead silent. Floor 2 the elevator read. Me and Liam got off the elevator, heading towards Mary's room. We walked in. "Well there's nothing I can do ma'am," the doctor said to Mary's mom. as I walk over to Mary's mom, she starts crying. "Margret what cant the doctor do?" Liam asks. "Mary is in a coma..." Margret says slowly. Me and Liam are both in shock. Mary's best friend Ashley comes running in. "Is she still alive?!?!" Ashley asks in a

panic.

"She's still alive but," I couldn't even finish my sentence before Ashley buts in.

"BUT WHAT?!?!?!"

"She's in a coma." I say slowly.

Ashley is in shock I can tell. She walks over to Mary "Wake up! Mary you need to wake up!" Ashley screams while shaking Mary. She tries not to cry but it's not working.

"GABI YOU GOTTA HELP ME WAKE HER UP!!!!!" "SHES GOT THE WHOLE TEAM COUNTING ON HER!"

She runs out of Mary's room and frantically searches for the doctor. Eight o'clock comes around and a nurse comes in and tells us visiting hours are over. She stops Mary's mom "You can stay if you wanna ma'am."

We all leave but Margret who stays with her motionless child. Going down the elevator we are all silent. Before Ashley leaves I stop her.

"Hey Ashley what tournament were you talking about?"

"It's nothing... With out Mary there's no point..."

"What are you talking about? What team?"

"I can't tell you that."

"Sure you can"

"Clearly I can't bitch!"

I nod. I walk away to my car with Liam. We arrive at Liam's house and I spend the night there. I wake up the next morning to Liam cooking breakfast. I call the hospital to see is Mary has woken up from her coma.

"Has she woken up?" I say to the doctor

"No, not yet I'll call you when she does. Is that okay?"

"Yes, that's fine. Thank you."

Four weeks went by and no call from the doctor. The phone finally rang. It was the doctor.

"Hello?"
