Chapter 8

I woke up the next morning in Tyler's bed. Oh no, my brothers were going to be pissed, but I was also in the guy's house he tried to kill me yesterday.

"Good morning." Tyler smiled as he looked at me. "Hey, they're getting ready for the masquerade thing downstairs," He said. I nodded and got to my feet putting my clothes back on. I walked downstairs and slammed into Stefan. Tyler was walking down after me. I looked at him. Stefan looked at Tyler and had him a 'back off stare'.

"Stefan." I said pushing him slightly. I saw Mason and looked at Tyler.

"Come on, Ty." I told him grabbing his arm.

"Tyler." Mason said walking over. Mason whispered something in his ear. I had vampire hearing so I could hear them.

"You need to stay away from her." Mason said. Tyler looked at him and pushed away. I grabbed Tyler's arm. I walked outside and saw Damon.

"You should go, Lockwood." Damon said. I grumbled, and Tyler went away. I grumbled and pushed Damon out of the way. I walked over to Stefan.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Well, Damon carted Mason off back home." Stefan said.

"What?! Why!?" I yelled.

"He tried to kill us, Rosemary." He said. He looked down at his phone.

"Where are you going?" I asked as he started to run off.

"I'm going to look for the moonstone." He said as we came to a well. He opened it and was about to jump in when Elena came along.

"Go home, Rosey." Stefan said. I didn't decide against it. I ran home. I could already hear Mason Lockwood's screams. I quickly ran into the house. I saw Damon. He suddenly ripped Mason's heart out.

"No!" I yelled. It was Tyler's uncle. How would I tell this to him?

"He was a dick!" Damon yelled at me. I shook my head.

"He was Tyler's uncle!" I yelled.

"Why do you care about Tyler so much?!" He yelled. I looked at Damon.

"I don't like fighting with you Damon." I murmured. I walked up stairs. I closed my eyes. I slumped down outside Stefan's room. I started to cry. Stefan came running up the stairs. He put his arm around me.

"Rosey, shush, it's ok." He said stroking my hair. He kissed my forehead. "I'll talk to him," He said walking downstairs. I felt awful. I looked down as my phone buzzed. 'Mason's gone. Will you see me soon?' Tyler asked. I nodded and texted him back. 'Tomorrow, we'll go to the masquerade.' I texted him. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep. In my dreams, I saw Katherine getting hurt, but Elena was getting hurt in the same spot.

I shot up. I looked around and realized I was in Stefan's room I needed to get a dress for tonight. I set off for the dress store. I found a cute white dress with beading and found a lovely white mask to match. When I came home, I came home to Alaric supplying everyone with weapons.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked.

"Killing Katherine." Damon said.

"Well sign me up." I said as they gave me a weapon.

"Let's go." Damon said. I came down the stairs in my white dress.

We arrived at the Lockwood mansion. I looked around for Tyler. I saw him, and he motioned for me to come into one of the back rooms. I nodded and walked over to him taking a shot that he handed over to me. I looked at him, and Damon pulled me off to the side.
