chapter 2 -the lunch crowd-

hey hey hey!! so i guess chapter 1 was a big hit i'm glad you liked it!! because you people are so cool i'm giving you chapter 2 today! whoooo lol okay enough rambling from me.

Lunch time finally came around. The girls entered the cafeteria and followed the line of people to the food.

None of it looked appetizing. There was some lumpy yellow mush, which the lunch-lady claimed was baked mac & cheese. Though it looked (and smelled) an awful lot like vomit.

Among many other unrecognizable and unattractive piles of mush, there were two pieces of pizza. Which they they took along with a bag of pretzels and a Mountain Dew for each of them.

As they turned around they heard a shout, "Victoria! Carrie! Over here!"They looked to the direction of the voice and saw Cable waving his arms.

They walked over to the table he was sitting at, and the got there just in time to hear a tall girl with red-brown say, "You're inviting freshmen to the table now?" the sarcastic tone she used made it hard to tell if she was joking or not.

"Yes, Lu, I'm inviting freshman to the table now." Cable replied, also sarcastic, but you could tell he was joking.

Then he turned to them and said, "Okay, so let me introduce you to everyone.

Then he turned to the group at the table, "Everyone this is Victor-"

"Vicky!" she interrupted.

"Um, right, Vicky." he said with a smile. "Everyone this is Vicky and Carrie. Vicky and Carrie this is everyone."

"So helpful." Carrie laughed

The redish-brown haired girl said, "He's always like that."

"So we're beginning to notice" Vicky said.

"I'm Lulu Collins, senior." She said with a plastic smile.

A young man with dark brown hair, who was wearing a Beatles T-shirt, stood and shook their hands, "hey, i'm Robby Pearson, uhh, junior."

Next to him a small dark-skinned girl waved at them and said, "Elly, junior."

on the other side of the table sat a girl who introduced herself as Mandy.

In between Mandy and Cable sat a boy with straight black hair that hung into his vivid green eyes. he looked up at them and smirked, "friends call me Max, Haters call me Maxwell, and the ladies call me yje maximum ride, if you catch my meaning," he winked

 Mandy and Lulu scoffed.

Elly, Robby, and Cable rolled their eyes.

Carrie laughed, "Well, at least you're humble."

He winked again.

Carrie and Vicky sat down at the end of the table.

"So, how's you're first day been so far?" Cable asked.

"Pretty good, actually. the teachers are okay. Well as far as teachers go any ways."

Conversation grew at the table, and then Carrie realized that (in between talking about what a player he was) Max had been staring at her.

"What?" she asked, "Do i have someting on my face?"

Cable chuckled as he looked down as his lunch blushing and said, "No you're fine."

Vicky tapped Carrie's foot under the table and waggled her eyebrows.

Carrie glared and then smiled self-consciously.
