"You were right," Dom whispered to Taurtis. "This IS a long night."
A few hours had passed and nothing happened. It was almost midnight.
"You know, you two were right," Sookie said to Soul and Yuki. "Nothing's happening."
"Yeah," Soul said. "Even though this place seems scary, it really isn't."
Yuki was about to add to the topic when suddenly everyone heard a faint ringing.
"Did everyone hear that...?" PD asked.
Everyone nodded.
JTS grabbed his axe and slowly went towards the sound. Everyone followed him. The sound came from the security room.
"Is that a... Phone?" Invader asked.
A message was playing. It seemed like it was continuing a series of messages.
"I can make it so we can hear all the messages," J offered. "It seems pre-recorded."
"Please do," Soul said.
J whacked the recorder with his wrench and it suddenly changed.
Hello? Uh, hello, hello! Hi! Welcome to your new job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza...
They listened through all the messages in horror. Taurtis was definitely scared of the killer robots, but something from the messages stuck in his mind.
Maybe if you play dead, they'll think you're an empty suit...
They'll think you're a suit.
Taurtis looked at the Freddy head in his hands. They had shoved the suit into the parts room, but since he was bored Taurtis had gone back and grabbed the head.
"Hey guys!" Taurtis announced. "I have an idea!"
"Leave?" J asked.
"No!" Taurtis said. "What if we put on this head, and they think we're one of them!"
"Won't we die if we shove our head in there?" Prime asked.
"Nah, this one's safe." Taurtis answered. "After all, I wore it at school, right?"
"You're a genius Taurtis!" Sam said.
"But how do we know if it works?" J asked. "We would need to take a risk and test."
Everyone was quiet. If this didn't work, then whoever was testing it would have more than just a Freddy head...
"I'll try!" Everyone turned to look at the volunteer.
"Dom?!" Sam asked. Dom smiled at Sam as if to say 'Try to be more brave than me!'
"Alrighty then," Taurtis handed the head to Dom. Dom took off his hat and put on the Freddy head. He gave his hat to Prime to hold and stepped out the door. Sam decided to press the red DOOR button. The door shut. Dom tried not to be worried. He had the head, and there were two doors. He hadn't heard the other door shut. He walked through the hallway slowly, realizing just how dangerous and scary this was.
