Our first game for Arsenal was the first game since we got here. We only had two training sessions but Arsene Wenger had trusted us. We were 6th on the leaderboard and a win against Chelsea was very important. Chelsea was on good form after winning the Champions league and the EPL the year before. Carlos was playing at left forward, Jack was playing at right forward and I was playing at striker. The game was tight but then in the last 2 minutes of the game, something dramatic happened. The scores were were 2-2 with Jack and Calos scoring when Sam Stevens (CB for Chelsea) got red carded. I was dribbling through the middle when he slide tackled me from behind. That tackle nearly broke my ankle. The penalty was given to Santi Cazorla who was playing his last season for the club. He went for power and it was sent crashing into the crossbar. The ball flew out to the halfway line. I was the first to get there. I dribbled it a bit and hit it. The ball flew into the top corner and Cortouis couldn't do anything about it. We all went crazy. At the press conference after the game Arsene said we were already players for the history books. That meant a lot. After playing for Arsenal for a month we were already on top of the table. After Chelsea lost to us they went into terrible form and dropped down to 5 in the ladder. We won against Manchester United, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester who were the top 5 teams when we transferred. We were all close on points when we arrived so a win against all of them ensured us a top spot in the premier league. The next match was against Tottenham in the north London derby. We kicked off and we immediately made an impact by scoring from kickoff. Jack passed it off wide to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and he ran down the wing doing skill moves to beat the defenders whilst me and Jack ran to the box. I stayed at the edge of the box whilst Jack went in the box when Alex crossed it in to me the ball was about 80 cm behind me. It wasn't the best of crosses. I went for the impossible and tried a back-heel shot. I surprisingly made contact with my studs and it went into the top right corner. That was the only goal of the game. It was a great achievement in my career as I hated Tottenham.
