Name: (f/n) (m/n) (l/n)
Detective Name: Ay
Current Chosen Alias: Sophie Jenkins
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Signature: She leaves the Justice tarot card with Ay printed on the back in the pocket of the culprit. She then leaves them for a random police officer to bring in. That random police officer is only Ay once in a blue moon.
Evasive Technique: As she is usually an active member of the investigation, she remains on that force under her alias for at least 6 months before she puts in for a transfer. Then she fakes that Alias' death after 4 months. Or she actually has them transfer elsewhere and works as the alias.
Current Appearance: Breast length blonde hair and red-brown eyes. Porcelain like features. (s/c) skin.
Actual Appearance: (h/l) (h/c) hair.(e/c) eyes. (Accurate description of your face.) (s/c) skin.
Bio: Born in England, but moved to America when she was 12. You could say she moved back to England once she turned 16, but by then she had already begun to make a name for herself as Ay. She graduated from college at age 13. She has several different Aliases, but the most recent alias is Sophie Jenkins, a member of Scotland Yard. Only on the computer, though. Sophie Jenkins recently moved to Japan and became a member of the Tokyo police force, not very long before the Kira case began to attract attention. Ay worked with L on the BB L.A. case, but she never told him who she was.
I chuckled as I read over the file I had on myself. Why did I have it? Well, of course I wanted somebody to eventually figure out that I am Ay, the detective that nobody can ever get a hold of. Besides, it was written in a very complicated code.
There is not a person on this world who can contact me. Almost every government knows of me, but they mostly keep me under the carpet. There is this very interesting website on the internet labeled Who is Ay? Believe it or not, they actually have one picture of me on that website. One out of about 200, but still. Technically speaking, it's a sketch, not a photo. There are several of them that are merely sketches. You see, I am a master at changing my look. I use face masks akin to the ones that are used in movies. If you have ever seen face off, then you know what I am speaking of.
I usually use a wig, different paddings, and colored contacts. Occasionally I even add fake glasses to the mix! In this way, nobody knows how I actually look, as I always end up showing my face. I do love field work.
I seem to have digressed. You see, the only reason I cannot be contacted is because I only take cases to entertain myself. Simple. I figure I must have some sort of a sense of justice, because I don't resort to killing anybody. And no, I am not a sociopath. You see, as soon as I heard that healthy criminals were randomly dying of heart attacks, I quickly put the pieces together. So, I transferred 'Sophie Jenkins' to Japan, and here I am.
----------------Later, Chief Yagami took Matsuda and I to the ICPO meeting. Actually, I got there before Matsuda, and Matsuda got there before Chief Yagami.
"There's been 52 deaths that we're aware of, and that's just in the last week. Every single one of them involved a heart attack. They were all criminals who were either held in prison or who were wanted by police for outstanding crimes. I think it's safe to say there are other criminal's whose deaths are unaccounted for." Somebody up front stated.
"In which case the death toll could be well over 100." Another one informed us.
Chief Yagami came up and pulled out a chair.
"Morning chief. They started the meeting without you." Matsuda said.
"That's fine, I had to take an urgent call from headquarters." Yagami replied.
"I suppose curiosity killed the cat, so I shouldn't ask." I commented. Then, I listened to a debate about whether or not we should just leave the killer to his work. Then, they began arguing about how they could even investigate this. I kind of began to zone out a bit, until somebody said something that sparked my interest.
"Perhaps we should contact Ay." Somebody stated.
Another person scoffed. "Nobody ever knows if Ay has been on the case until after the fact. It's impossible to contact him." Great, now I'm a boy. Sometimes I do go on cases as a boy, though.
"For all we know, Ay could already be on the case." A voice chimed. I was having a hard time containing my laughter.
"If that's the case then we have no choice but to bring in L." Everybody went silent after that. My name brings arguments. L's name ends them. It is really quite amusing. Matsuda asked Yagami about who L is, and I chuckled slightly. They both glanced at me before Yagami explained it to Matsuda. People expressed their doubts, and I resisted the urge to laugh.
"L is already on the move." Came a voice I recognized to be Watari's. "Everyone, L has already begun his investigation into these incidents." Again, Yagami had to explain things to Matsuda.
Then, Watari asked for silence, saying that L would like to speak. He flipped open a laptop and L's logo appeared on screen.
"Greetings to all of you at the ICPO. I am L. The difficulty of this case lies in its unprecedented scope. Make no mistake. We're witnessing an atrocious act of murder, one that is unforgivable. This case cannot be solved without the full cooperation of the ICPO and all of the originations it represents. You need to make the decision to fully support the investigation at this meeting. Also I require additional cooperation from Japan's national police agency." Came the equally familiar computer generated voice of L.
I smirked. So, we're on the same page, huh L? There is a strong possibility whoever is doing this is Japanese. They are certainly in Japan at least.
L asked to have the investigation headquarters in Japan.
---------------------------It would appear that the murderer has been nicknamed Kira. Most likely derived from the English word 'killer.' I am curious as to how Kira feels about that. After all, he does have a bit of a complex. He very strongly believes that he is presenting justice to these criminals. In fact, he most likely believes that he is justice. He is rather strange.
I watched L go onto TV...of course, I am no idiot. It is highly unlikely that L would go onto TV himself. In fact, I am almost certain that he sent in a double, most likely a criminal scheduled for execution. It is obvious that L and Kira are very alike. I know for a fact that L also believes himself to be justice. Intelligent people. We're all idiots.
"However. What you're doing right now is evil." Lind L. Taylor stated. Oh dear. Somebody with a complex like Kira's certainly won't take this well....
Very sneaky, L. Very sneaky indeed. Calling him out like that. I can't wait to see what happens.
Oh my.....Lind just died. Well, things just got interesting. It looks like L found the region Kira was located in on his first try. As per usual, I am impressed. And a bit disturbed. How can Kira kill without being present? What is the murder weapon? Oh, this is bound to be my best case yet.
L's logo came on screen. He spoke for a while, saying some of the things that were running through my head. "But I assure you, L is real, I do exist. Now, try to kill me!" What is wrong with you L? I suppose I can't blame him. In his situation, I would have tried the same thing. He's trying to see if Kira has the power to kill everyone or just certain people.
"Well, Kira, it seems that you can't kill me after all." L stated. He then explained the true nature of his broadcast and told Kira a bit about himself.
"Well. L certainly has lived up to his reputation." Matsuda commented.
"Uh huh. He proved that Kira exists, the deaths were murders and that he is here in Japan." Yagami agreed.
I smirked. "Well, there really shouldn't have been any doubt."
"Let's meet again, Kira." L ended the broadcast with. Well...what an interesting way to start an investigation. L never disappoints.
