Chapter 10

Kim's POV

I woke up from the couch, Diamond was still sleep so I tried not to wake her. I went up stairs to take a shower. Afterwards, I lotioned my body in Paris Amore from bath and body works and put on my black leggings and pink nike shirt, I put my hair in a messy bun. I went back downstairs to check on Diamond. I heard someone coming in the door, it was Damien.

"Hey baby" He said walking in.

"Hi where you been" I said while he was sitting down on the couch.

"Taking care of business" He replied

I got quiet and just sat down. Damien went upstairs and I followed. Damien went to our room.

"So what happened" I asked Damien again

"I told you, I was taking care of business!" Damien said with a type of tone in his voice.

"Alright" I said with a nonchalant tone.

I laid in the bed and Damien went to the bathroom. I just laid there, then slowly drifted off to sleep.

1 hour later :

I woke up and Damien was watching tv in the bed with me. He noticed me up.

"Hey baby" He said kissing me

"Wassup" I said dapping him up jokefully

"Thanks for caring for Diamond she really loves you, speaking of her lil self I cant believe she still sleep. What yall do last night aha" he said

"We just had girl time" I said smiling

"Ahh bae you the best" He said while I put my laid my head on his chest.

We both looked towards the door and Diamond sleepy self was coming through the door.

"Good morning guisee!" She said happily while rubbing her eye

"Ahaha um baby, its 1" Damien said and we both laughed

I went to go give Diamond a bath. And after I got in the bed with Damien. Diamond crawled in between us and we were all there in the bed like a little family.

Omar's POV

I woke with my head throbbing. I looked around and I had shit hooked up to me. I looked and saw all white walls. Then it came to me I was in the hospital.

"Fuck" I said silently to myself, with my head still hurting

A nurse came in.

"How are you feeling?" she said

"Fine, but um what happened to me" I said quickly

"You were severely beaten in your home last night" She replied

"Who found me" I replied

"We think your friend sir by the name of Derrick and I will let you rest now" She replied and left. I think imma just lay low for now and ask Derrick about this shit,

Damien's POV

After laying around with Diamond and Kim I told them we were going to my moms . I went to my closet, but I couldn't help but think last night I let my anger get the best of me. Oh fucking well that nigga need to learn him lesson. I just love Kim so much and I dont want any man harassing or abusing her cause ill kill for my baby. Kim and Diamond got up and went to Diamond's room. I put on my clothes then brushed my hair. Diamond came in the room.

"Bae Diamonds dressed just to let you know" She said while going into the closet.

"Alright" I said while making my way downstairs to see Diamond sitting on the couch watching Power Puff girls.

"Ahehehehehe" She laughed at something on the tv.

I sat down and put her in my lap. She smiled and laid her head on my chest, I swear my daughter is my world!

Kim's POV

I finally finished straightening my hair. I made my way downstairs. I was really excited to see Damien's mother. When I got downstairs I saw Diamond and Damien watching Power Puff girls. I laughed to my self.

"What you laughing at" Damien said while getting up

"You, aha too cute" I replied

"Well yall ready" I said

"Yeah" Damien said putting Diamond down

"What car we taking" I asked

"The audi baby" He replied getting the keys

We all were in the car and started heading to Damien's mom house. We pulled up to this nice colorful and bright neighborhood.

"Grammas howse!" Diamond said as we were pulling in the driveway.

Her house was yellow, had pretty flowers everywhere I loved it.

"You use to live here" I said while laughing

"Yes but it didnt look like this" He said and we both laughed

Damien got Diamond out and pick her up and we all got to the front door. Diamond rung the bell.

"Who is it" A sweet female voice said

"Its me ma" Damien replied

She unlocked the locks.

"Hey baby how are you? come on in" She said while hugging Damien

We all came in.

"Im good ma" Damien said

"Grammaa !" Diamond said

"Hey grandmas baby" She said while taking Diamond and putting her in her arms.

"Ma this is Kim" He said while pointing to me. 

"Hey Mrs.Brookes, nice to meet you" I said with a smile

"Hey baby. Call me Ms. Ana and I remember you!" she said while we hugged.

All of us sat on the couch.

"Damien why dont you come see your momma more often" Ms.Ana said

"Well ma im sorry a lot be going on" Damien

"Yeah yeah, so tell me about yourself sweetheart" Ms.Ana said while giving Damien the look.

"Well im 18, I will be attending cosmetology school in the fall, I plan to have my own hair salon hopefully." I said

"Awhh Damien she's a keeper baby"

After talking with his mom we were headed back home. I liked his mom she was sweet. After we got home Damien seemed a little different. Damien was more quiet which is kind of unusual. I was in bed reading a magazine and Damien came in the bed from the bathroom. He faced the other way, so I knew something was wrong.

"Whats wrong baby" I say turning towards him

"Nothing im f-.. Well diamond leaving tomorrow and I just really dont want to talk about it alright, Good night" He replied and put the covers over him.

"Good night love " I said with sorrow in my voice
