Don't Play With My Heart (A Paul Love Story)

~PART 17!~

It's been a week since Seth's birthday, everything has been going fine. Sam has me patrol with the others cause i asked him if i could. So every few days I would patrol with either Seth, Jacob or Leah.

"Roxy you can head out for patrol out by the treaty line. Paul will join you soon" Sam said

"Kay, Jake and Embry by Canada?"

"Yup now go"

"Bye Sam see you later" 

"Love you Roxy" he called out to me. Normal we'd only have two people on patrol a night, but the past few days we've been smelling vampire on our land so it is now 4 people of patrol. I decided to walk to the treaty line then phase. I phased. 'What is taking Paul so long' I thought

'Oooh waiting for you lover Roxy?' Embry thought

'Sam is making us patrol together'

'I'm sure he'll come soon' Jacob thought

A half an hour later 'Where the h*ll is Paul!!'

'Still not there?'

'Nope I'm doing this all alone'

'Chill Roxy I'm coming' Paul thought

'Finall....AHHHHHHHHHH!' i screamed in my head.

'Roxy?' Jacob thought

'Roxy?' Embry thought

'Roxy!' Paul thought yelled. That's the last thing I heard before changing back and blacking out.

**Pauls Pov**

Okay so I was little late for patrol tonight with Roxy, I over slept. I phased and heard Roxy complain about patrolling alone. After I told her I was coming she screamed. The others asked for her but she didn't respond. I screamed her name but still nothing. I started running faster, I could smell that sweet sent of hers, meaning that she had phased back, but as i got closer I smelt something else too.

'Guys go get Sam!'

'Why?' Embry asked

'Vampire and they've got Roxy' Not long after the entire pack was here, asking questions.

"Sam I don't know I was on my way here, she screamed, we yelled for her, she didn't respond, so i ran faster, and when i got here she was gone. I smelled Vampire." I told him and everyone else.

"Ok Paul, wait why were you late?" Sam asked

"I overslept, but that's not the problem. We need to find Roxy"

"That is part of the problem. If you would have gotten here on time, she wouldn't have been all alone and shed be here right now"

"Does Paul want Roxy now?" Leah asked

"Yes!" I yelled.

"Finally!" Everyone yelled

"Alright, Jake, Embry stay together, continue patrol towards the Canadian border. If you find something odd call us" Sam said. "Paul, Jared and I will go look for Roxy"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa I'm going too" Jacob said Sam looked at him and Embry nodded. Great the only reason Jacob wants to come is because he has this huge crush on Roxy. 

"Okay Paul, Jared, Jacob and I will go. Quil go with Embry. Seth go with them. Collin, Brady run patrol in the woods around La Push. And Leah" He turned to her "Go back to Emily tell her whats going on and stay there"

"But why?" She asked

"If Roxy comes home that's the first place she'll go"

"Gotcha" Leah left. I smiled she got that word from Roxy only its a lot cuter when Roxy says it. 

"Paul you coming?" Jared asked talking me out of my thoughts.

"Ya" I looked around to see that it was only Sam, Jacob, Jared, and i.

"Alright lets phase and find her" Sam said. We phased and ran into the direction of her scent. But along the way her scent went three ways. Jake and I went one way while Sam and Jared went the other. We would howl if we found anything and if not we'd meet back at 4 and together head the third way, her scent was.

**Roxys Pov**

I woke up looking at this gorgeous man. Then I remembered he had attacked me so I turned away.

"Miss I am not the one who attacked you for I am only half. My sister and her boyfriend attacked you. I am to report to them when you have awaken" He said. "I'm Gabriel by the way"

"Roxy. And you wouldn't tell them that I woke up now would you?" I pouted.

"My my you are the most beautifulest girl, I've ever seen"

"And you wouldnt want them to hurt me now would you" 

"Of course not my beautiful beautiful wolf" He sat down next me.

Sp where are they?"

"In their house, hours from here. They brought you here because they didn't have room there, and look around I'm alone."

"A gorgeous man like you all alone"

"Yes ma'am"

"If you don't mind me asking how old are you?"

"I'm actually 17 about to be 18, I just look 25 because I'm half vampire. But i hate human blood so don't worry my beautiful Roxy"

"Oh im not worried" I smiled "So your half vampire huh"

"Yes, my father was a vampire my mother was human. They fell in love, I was born, my mother died. My father had another child before me, my sister. She was 18 when i was 2 and she was half just like me. But she had to choose to either be completely vampire or completely human."

"So she chose vampire"

"yes, she met Drake and fell in love. With him being 19 she wanted to stay 18 so vampire is what she chose."

"So when your 18 you need to choose too?"

"Yes and human is what i want. So tell me about you and being a werewolf."

I didn't want to tell him about my child hood well not the horrible stuff "I'm from La Push Washington, but spend most of my life in Mass." *i forgot how to spell :( sorry*

"So am I, well the Mass. part" He laughed "Tell me about the wolf thing"

"Well I'm a wolf, my brother is Alpha of the pack and im alpha too"

"Two alphas in one pack ouch"

"Three, my best friend was supposed to be alpha but my brother changed first."

"So whats imprinting?" I looked at him funny "My sister was saying something about it"

"Oh for us its finding out soul mate"

"Do you have an imprint?"

"Yes and no"

"Yes and no?"

"Well yes i imprinted on another member of the pack, but he didn't imprint back so no"

"He didnt imprint back, how is that possible?"

"I don't know. Imprint or not he doesn't want me either way. Hes made himself perfectly clear on that. So im fine with that, there's someone out there for me"

"Maybe hes right here" Gabriel smiled

"Maybe he is" I smiled back
