It had been a month since the party.

A month since saw her walk through their door at noon.

A month since he had that weird feeling in his heart.

Ever since then he would start to notice the way she talked, walked, the way her body moved, what clothes she wore, how she had her hair that day, so on and so on. It also didn't go unnoticed to her as well.

It was annoying her.

It didn't matter to Evan, just as long he could see her every morning. He also started to make up excuses to Donna in order see Rosie everyday. He would lie and say that he was working on a project that needed his attention, he would sometimes say that he was with the In-laws and he could not go to her.

Evan was in his office looking over a few reports when his secretary buzzed him through the intercom.

"Mr. Conner, a Mr. Robert Jackson is here to see you." Evan looked at the intercom and pressed the button.

"Send him in." He placed the papers back in the folder just when the door opened and Robert Jackson stepped in the room. The door closed behind him and he went towards Evan.

"Hello Mr. Conner, I'm Robert Jackson. The Private Investigator you hired." They both shook hands and Robert sat down in the chair beside him.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice." Evan looked at his side of his desk and open his drawer. " I will make this quick so you can get started." He pulled out a picture and handed it to him. Robert looked at it.

"Gorgeous woman. Who is she?" He asked while admiring the woman. Evan leaned back in his chair.

"Her name is Rose Chase Conner: my wife." Robert looked at him, knowing now what his new employer wanted him to do.

"I suppose you want me to spy on her, correct?" Evan nodded his head.

"Follow her everywhere and report to me every week, but only reach me here at the office. I don't want her to know what I am up to. People say you are the best in the business." Robert kept his gaze on Evan then look back at the picture.

"I get results if that's what you are asking. I don't blame you, if I had a woman like her as my wife, I wouldn't leave her out of my sight; let alone, her being by herself in your martial home." Then Robert stood up and Evan followed and lead him towards the door.

"Remember what I have said Mr. Jackson."Evan repeated to him as they shook hands.

"Don't worry Mr. Conner, I am a professional at my work, you will get results." He smiled and left his office. Evan went back inside and closed the door. Evan knew that he was the last person to do this to Rosie but for some reason in his head; he was the one who started this, he was the only one to cheat, not her.

So why now?

So why the guilt?

It has been a month since he hired Mr. Jackson.

And what came of it?

"Mr. Conner, its me. I have my report for you. Mrs. Conner has not been seeing anyone. All she does is go grocery shopping, go to her friend's house; a Miss. Melissa Jones. Then she goes home."

So was he wrong?

No you are not and you know it

Evan had started to work from home and he has notice the stink eye she has sent his way. Not only that but he had notice a little bit more on how her body looked in certain clothes. He once came back from a meeting that was mandatory for him to go into the office and saw her in a sort of a tiny thin tank top and little booty shorts. She had her honey colored hair up in a messy bun as she was cooking something on the stove.
