"So now I need security clearance for Blume HQ. Everywhere I turn, Blume's involved. These guys are up to something and it's a lot more than ctOS. I hope T-Bone knows what he's doing." I told myself. I had to follow a helicopter that was taking ctOS deliveries to get to the given location. I then called T-Bone.
"I'm at a trailer park, here in Pawnee."
"Well that doesn't make any sense. Wait a minute-- it makes perfect sense! A lot of the Pawnee Militia run security for Blume. And a lot of them live in that pit of paranoia.
"One of them's the security chief." I said.
"With full access." completed T-Bone.
"I can hardly wait."
"You remember that bunch protecting the truck? Same gang. The Pawnee Militia is made up of preppers. Survivalits. Anti-government types. My kind of people--which means they won't fuck around. Cold. dead hands and all that crap." ended the call T-Bone.
I carefully went in and took down the guards. The chief tried to run away, but I catched him from behind, also taking the Blume HQ clearance.
"We've got our access to Blume HQ now. " I called T-Bone.
"Damn! I'm sorry I doubted you." he said.
"Why would you doubt me?"
"I'm a realist. Listen--I'm coding a dirty little virus to erase me from their system. Damn, I'm good."
"And then I waltz into Blume with my access and your code. What's security like?" I asked.
"Oh good point. You might call it -thick."
"Yeah. Well let's thin their numbers then. You tracking any of their truck deliveries?"
"Of course I am." said T-Bone.
"Send me their routes and let's make some noise." I ended the call.
"The Pawnee Militia is made of security contractors. That means when they fuck up, they lose business. If I create some fuck-ups, they'll send more men.. and that means less of them at Blume." I said to myself.
I had to take out the delivery convoy before it reached Blume. I started to shoot their cars until there was no one left, immediately after that I called T-Bone:
"Okay, Blume doesn't know what hit them. We've got a window."
"Damn, wish I'd known you years ago. The things we could have done.."
"Don't worry. We'll do lots in Chicago. You've got your virus ready for me?" I asked.
"More or less.." said T-Bone.
"More.. or less?"
"More. It'll work. I think."
"What does that mean? I'm walking down into the lion's den." I said.
"Don't be dramatic. You reach their servers, this thing'll work."
"And you are the legend Clara's been raving about."
"The what? Who?" asked T-Bone, confused.
"Nevermind." I ended the call.
I got to the Blume center.
"If T-Bone's coming with me to Chicago, I gotta breach the building. Blume's head office. Security specialist. It's not going to be easy. And I'm a giant blip on their radar. But once I'm done here, I've got Raymond Kenney in my back pocket." I told myself.
I hacked the inside network and called T-Bone.
"I'm in position. Shouldn't take me long."
"Once you've dropped that spyware in, it'll launch a virus. That'll scan the system for my data and wipe it all." said T-Bone.
All the files and biometric records of T-Bone were deleted, but just when I was preparing to leave, I've heard someone talking inside: "Charlotte Gardner, there's a Damien Brenks here to see you."
"Damien Brenks? What's this about?"
"He said it's about "Raymond Kenny"."
"I see. Send him over."
I was curios about that and I decided to hack the security cameras inside to see what was happening. There I saw Damien and Gardner, the Blume chief, talking to each other:
"Okay, you've got my attention. Let's talk about Raymond Kenny." said Gardner.
"One thing at a time. You should know I've come across some dirt on a few ctOS executives."
"What kind of dirt?" she asked.
"The expensive kind. Relax- this isn't blackmail."
"If not money, then what?"
"It's simple. You can have the dirt." said Damien.
"Very little simple. What's your price, Mr. Brenks?"
"I want inside ctOS. I'll give you Kenny, the dirt, even the vigilante once I'm done with him.. I know, I know. The people upstairs would never allow it. But they don't have to know. And Kenny is right here in Pawnee. Isn't that convenient?"
"Please excuse me." Said Gardner, leaving the room and calling someone: "We have Kenny. Get moving."
"Dammit! Damien's going to fuck this all up - Why can't he see that? We need Ray Kenny. Gotta get him out of this!" I said to myself, nervous.
The Blume guards spotted me and we've started to shoot each other. Eventually, I got to my car and raced towards T-Bone's house.
"Damien gave up T-Bone. He said he'd stop me and he's actually trying. He won't win this one." I told myself on the way to T-Bone.
I called him.
"You've got trouble headed your way. Blume knows where you are."
"I think you're confused, because I clearly remember sending you in there to ERASE me from Blume's radar." said T-Bone, nervous."Well it worked, except the militia's coming for you."
"Some days I should listen to the voice in my head that says stay in bed." said T-Bone.
"Some days, yeah.."
"Alright. Hurry the fuck up." ended the call T-Bone.
I met T-Bone at his house. The militia came there and started shooting the whole place. Me and T-Bone powered on his huge robots and, in the end, it was followed up by a huge explosion. The whole backyard was looking like a war zone, but at least we could escape the militia.
T-Bone then took out his phone and took a photo of the scene saying: "For the portofolio."
We both ran to a boat nearby that would get us directly to the bunker, where we will be planning our next step.
