Chapter 4

*~Your P.O.V~*

"Tell me what?!" I asked once again, Slender nodded to Jack who gripped my arm and started pulling me outside
"Let's take a walk..." He said.

We walked for twenty awkward minutes and none of us spoke. He stopped near a lake and sat on the grass, I sat beside him
"Remember when you asked...How I escaped the killer?" He asked as I nodded, he looked away and sighed
"I-I was the killer..." He murmured, my eyes opened wide
"You killed your own sister and your mother?!" I shouted in shock
"I wasn't in control of my actions...I took off my eyes as a self-punishment" He said, I always had a bad feeling about that but...a killer?!
"What about your father?!" I shouted, he looked away
"He died when I was nine..." He whispered, I bit my lip, I felt really bad for what I said but...why did he kill all his family?!

I backed away from him, I was far more than scared of him in that moment...
"I'm not going to hurt you...Not if it depends on me..." He said
"So you guys are all killer by...choice?!" I asked
"No...Jeff just went insane...Ben too...Masky and Hoodie are often under Slendy's mind control..." He explained
"What about you?" I asked
"I got acquainted to this life..." He simply said
"You mean like...you're happy this way?" I asked, a black liquid streamed through his eyes' holes staining his mask
"Are you crying?" I asked, he looked away
"No, I'm bleeding out of my none-existent eyes" He said sarcastically "Slendy needs to talk to you...I know it's a lot of stuff to absorb in one day but...this is really important...we should get back to the mansion" He said.

I gripped his shoulder making him look at me
"Are you okay?" I asked, did I just ask that? Why didn't I run away?! They are all psycho killers! He nodded turning his back at me. He took off his mask and cleaned it
"We should get going" He said. He was already far ahead when I finally started running to catch him up.

We arrived the mansion and I saw Slender trying to gather everyone, but it wasn't working, everyone was just yelling at each other, running around and just breaking everything
"So sorry for all this miss (y/l/n)..." He said "EVERYONE JUST SIT DOWN!" He shouted and everyone was so frightened that just ran in a sprint to the couch in front of him, he sighed
"For many thousands of years we lived in peace...but I'm afraid that he's back..." Everyone started whispering
"Zalgo is back and now stronger than ever! He has a mission he won't stop until he gets the one he wants...We know where he is" Slender looked at me as I frowned
"First...Who's Zalgo and what does this have to do with me?" I asked
"Zalgo is our old foe but we don't know why he wants you, but your life is not safe anymore" He said, I bit my lip, if they weren't lying I was in a big mess.

I stood up and walked out the mansion, I glared back to see Masky running after me.

*~Masky's P.O.V~*

I ran after (y/n) through the woods and gripped her arm. She turned to me, she was in verge of tears
"This is all Jack's fault!" She yelled at me "Why did he bring me here?! My life is an entire mess right now! I have so psycho villain trying to kidnap me or something like that! Jack ruined my entire life!" She yelled. I nodded because I actually knew how that felt.
"Everything is gonna be-" She cut me off
"No! It's not gonna be okay! I'm gonna die!" She said breaking down to tears
"You're gonna find a way out of this mess" I said, she frowned
"Me?" I nodded, I perfectly knew that most of us were going to die on the fight against Zalgo but it was something extremely necessary, Zalgo should be destroyed...once and for all...

"This can sound more than weird coming from killers but...we're trying to save you from Zalgo, and I'm sure that everyone will make everything they can to protect you" I said.
Next thing I know she hugged me
"I'm really scared..." She murmured, I hugged her back
"I know...I felt the same when Slendy turned me into a Proxy...I didn't know anything about this guys but...now I have friends here...a few..." I said, she smiled
"I'm going to help you all against Zalgo" She said, my eyes opened wide
"You're not really thinking about fighting Zalgo...are you?!" I asked, she nodded
"Of course I am! I won't let anyone hurt any of you, or me!" She said running towards the mansion

*~Your P.O.V~*

I ran towards the door to bump into someone, I looked up to see Jack...He was the only person I didn't want to talk to in that moment
"Sorry" He said and held his hand to help me, I didn't accept it and just got up
"You ruined my entire life...And now I'm going to end this mess" I said walking inside.

Slender was also surprised I wanted to fight, what's the big deal? Is it because I'm a girl? How can that so called Zalgo be so powerful to scare Slender and the others?
"Are you sure you want to fight, miss?" Slender asked as I nodded confident "Who do you want to be training you" He asked, Jack raise his hand "I-" Someone cut off
"I'll do it" I turned to see Masky.

*~Time Skip~*

With time Masky and I became good friends, he was also a good teacher, but I kind of missed Jack...No, I didn't...I mean...I felt like I wanted to be with him more often that's all...
"(y/n)? Are you listening?" Masky asked like for the thousandth time, I nodded
"Sorry I was just...thinking..." I answered, Masky thought for a moment before looking back at me
"Is it about Jack?" He asked, I was surprised, how did he know?
"How did yo-" He cut me off
"I was just guessing. You feel something for him, don't you?" He asked, I could feel he was smirking, I nodded
"No. Yes. I don't know!" I didn't know the answer "I would just like to be with him more often..." I said as Masky nodded, I felt like he was planing on doing something
