It didn't take Four long to notice something was amiss, he was walking around, rushing, his eyes wandering around his surroundings, searching for that one person. Tris.

He asked around, looking for Christina, a friend of Tris', asking if she had seen her, only to get a 'no' and a frown, he sighed before rushing off. Where could she have run off too?  Ran through his head. Belle crossed her arms over her chest and wondered towards him, wanting to put him out of his misery and get the words off her chest, she couldn't believe she didn't anything sooner, but she knew inside there wasn't anything she could've done to stop Tris, she was unstoppable, once she had her mind set on something, it was hard to get her off of the topic or motion.

Belle sighed, "Four." She yelled, getting his attention, his head turned towards her so fast she was worried he'd had done damage, but he ran over to her.

"Tris left." She said and his eyebrows furrowed, wondering why Belle was saying this, Tris couldn't have left after they had planned a way to get in without any problems, but this was Tris, he knew she'd do this her way without getting as many people involved as possible. He groaned as this ran through his head.

"When?" He asked, desperate, if it was in the last few minutes, he could catch up and stop her before it was too late.

"A few hours ago." She said, feeling guilty, as she watched him deflate in-front of her, they both knew she would've easily gotten over to Erudite in that time, perhaps even now Jeanine has her testing things, perhaps already dead, who knew, but they sure as hell didn't. Eric ran over to them both, seeing them both looking worried, he glances between them both as he gets closer.

"What's happened?" He asked and Belle looked over at him, she frowned.

"Tris ran to Erudite hours ago and nobody noticed.." She lied, she didn't want to tell them that she knew, Tris wouldn't want her too, it was clear when they both caught eyes hours before, the panicked looked on Tris' face and the slight shake of her head before she ran out. Belle looked away from them both, her eyes on her boots, she couldn't look at either of them, she felt the guilt eat her from the inside out.

Eric looked over at Four before shaking his head, "I knew she wouldn't stay, especially after yesterday.." He said, making Four look at him in confusion

"What do you mean?" He asked, "What did she say?" His voice getting louder, gaining some attention from the people around them.

"She said her own plan, instead of going along with the one we had come up with, then she told us not to say anything, I didn't think she'd really go through with it, considering we had one ready to go and well, we're literally ready to go." Eric said that and then some yelling came from the entrance to the factionless compound, people came rushing in, a slew of words in the air, non of it was understandable, everyone was shouting.

Four, Belle and Eric ran over trying to find out what's going on, a couple of Dauntless soldiers came running in with guns, people froze, scared that they would die, how did they find out where they were hiding. Belle looked around before crouching down and grabbing a weapon that was laying around on one of the stone tables, she waited for the right moment before shooting the soldiers in the legs, using the spaces and gaps between peoples bodies to not be seen, some people screamed not expecting the gun shots, and some ran away, away from the bullets, the other screams came from the Dauntless soldiers, crying as their flesh was torn apart.

Four and Eric rushed ahead with some other Dauntless 'rebels' and some factionless, taking the Dauntless soldiers away for questioning, and possible death sentences, I sighed and I laid on the cold, stone floor. Each day was becoming harder to live, I just hoped at some point we could get through this war, we didn't need something else to set us back, something to else for the future generations to learn and possibly repeat.

She just laid there and stared at the ceiling, just wondering why this was such a big issue for Jeanine, was it because the Divergent were free to pick a faction of whatever they desire, and they could get away with it, or was it because she couldn't figure out why they were like that, hence needing them wiped out so nobody would question her smarts.

Whatever the reason was, it was damn stupid.

Eric would know why she was after them, even if he left and is now against her, and if he did know, why didn't he say something before?

Belle sat up and walked to the excluded area where they had taken the Dauntless soldiers, one of the laid dead on the floor, the blood slowly pooling around the cooling body. Belle's eyes moved from the body to Eric, who was stood beside Four, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched Four beat and question on of the Dauntless soldiers, trying to get information. The soldier spat out the blood that was pooling in his mouth and turned to Four with a sneer.

"Why don't you ask our leader here." He jerked his head to Eric, who's face was emotionless, "He knows why Jeanine wants the Divergents, he found what she wanted, but didn't get the person she needed." The Dauntless soldier smirked as Four looked Eric.

"What did he mean?" Belle asked, drawing the attention to herself, Eric didn't look at her, "What did you find for her?"

"The key that holds the message from the founders." He said, "A Divergent who can get through this test she made that would open the box and reveal a message, Jeanine wanted that information, and she would do whatever it takes to get to it, using as many Divergents as she could get her hands on, and Tris is the only one we've come across that is 100% Divergent. She's what Jeanine needs to unlock the box." He explained, a grim expression on his face.

Four and I looked at each other, if things could've gotten worse, it had just at this point.
