REBECCA'S POV
"-and so that's why you can't tell Ben or anyone else mom" I had finished explaining to my mom the whole situation.
"It's like a secret love, forbidden and mysterious" she said in a weird voice.
"Really?" I giggled.
"That's really good, I'm really happy for you sweetheart" my mom smiled.
"It's not like we're dating mom" I insisted.
"Yet" she smiled.
"Alright" I giggled.
I felt a buzz under my leg and grabbed my phone.
"He's calling me" I smiled.
"Alright" she said getting up and walking out of my room.
I got up and walked to my balcony, just outside my bedroom and I answered my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey baby"
"What's up?"
"Not much, do you wanna come to my house? My parents won't be home until tomorrow"
"And what are you implying?"
"You could sleep here, with me"
"I'm not-" I shut my door and made sure the coast was clear.
"I'm not having sex with you Anthony"
"Not sex, sleep"
"You left my house like 4 hours ago"
"Guess I can't get enough"
"I have to ask, what am I supposed to say?"
"You are going to Selena's."
"Uh.. 7?"
"Great, see you after babe"
"Bye"
I hung up the phone.
I looked at my clock, 6:25.
Shit.
I walked out of my room and walked downstairs.
"Mom can I go over to A-" I said turning the corner but stopping in my tracks when I saw Ben sitting at the island.
"Um, can I go over to Selena's, for the night?" I continued nervously.
"Yeah Hun" she smiled, winking at me remembering that he had just called.
"Selena? You haven't talked to her in like 2 years.." Ben was catching on.
"And how do you know that?" I asked.
He shrugged his shoulders.
"I text her all the time" I defended myself.
My mom walked out of the kitchen.
"I know you aren't going to Selena's. So where are you going?" He asked.
"Shut up" I said and walked away before he got anything out of me.
