"Canis!"

I groaned and rolled over.

"Canis!"

I covered my face with my arm.

"Canis Lupus Black!" Mr. Crepsley roared. I jumped. "Huh?" I asked stupidly.

"Where is Madam Octa?"

I groaned again. "She's right there under your cloak." I moaned. I froze when I realized that she wasn't.

"Is this a prank?" he asked angrily. "If it is, I didn't pull it." I muttered.

We searched everywhere. But her cage was nowhere to be found.

He had found a note at the scene of the crime. It basically said ' I stole your spider don't look for it'. I gasped.

"What. What does it say," asked Mr. Crepsley.

I read it to him.

He clenched his fists. "I bet it was that other boy." He growled, pacing back and forth. "When I catch him..."

I snorted in disbelief.

He turned on me. "What?!" He barked.

I grinned. "Just you wait, he'll be begging for you to take her back soon," I said. "Plus you have to admit he's got guts. I mean what kind of person steals from a vampire?" I shook my head, "He's either crazy or brave."
