WARNING: Mentions of cutting/suicide

"Aqualad, what's going on? Why did you call us here?" Black Canary asked.

"I'm afraid something may be very off. Very bad." Aqualad started.

"What? What happened Aqualad?" Batman asked.

"It's Robin." Aqualad said.

"I think he may be lying. He says he is okay. But... I saw red marks on his left arm." Aqualad said.

"He was in a fight recently. I mean, it could be-" Black Canary said.

"No. I think Robin is cutting." Aqualad said firmly.

  Black Canary gasped.

"Aqualad. That's a very serious topic. Are you SURE? You have to be 100% sure." Black Canary said.

Aqualad nodded.

Black Canary looked at the spot Batman was at.

"Where'd he go?" Black Canary asked.

Batman stood behind Robin's spot on the couch.

He picked Robin up and brought him out into the hallway.

"Batman? What's going on?" Robin asked.

"Aqualad got the crazy idea that you were cutting yourself." Batman said.

Robin's eyes went WIDE.

"Show him your wrists, so that he knows that your not." Batman said.

Robin didn't.

"Robin. Take off your gloves." Batman's eyes narrowed.

Robin shook his head, looking down.

Batman's eyes got big. "Robin. You are aren't you?"

Robin started crying.

"Aqualad, you are dismissed." Batman said.

Aqualad went to the living room.

"Robin. Let me see." Black Canary said kindly and took Robin's hand.

Robin let Black Canary pull off his gloves.

There on Robin's wrists were angry red marks, some new and others a bit older.

"Robin." Batman whispered.

"Why?"

That one word broke all the dams and walls.

I'm sorry if anyone is uncomfortable with this.

It's just I went through some trauma and this is how I dealt with it.

I felt like Robin might have the same response.
