"So Robin. When did you start?" Black Canary asked.

Right now, they were both sitting in the therapy room.

"I'm not sure. One night after a nightmare." Robin said.

"What was the nightmare about?" Black Canary asked.

"Him." Robin whispered.

Black Canary pushed some tissues near him.

Robin took off his mask and started dabbing his eyes.

"It's all I think about! Is what happened when I was with him! I just want it to go away! I want to feel something other than what I have been feeling. I just want to be happy again." Robin said.

"I see. What do you think would help?" Black Canary asked.

"What?" Robin was slightly confused.

"What do you think would help to stop the nightmares. The cutting. The suicidal thoughts. What do you need Robin?" Black Canary asked.

"Peace." Robin whipped his eyes.

"Help." Robin also said after a bit.

"Help... me." Robin whispered.

"Okay. But first, I want you to sign something." Black Canary pulled out a piece of paper.

She started writing on it,  and then showed Robin the paper.

It said;

I will not cut any more.

I will go home and not cut.

I will do my work.

I will come to an adult when I feel the need to cut, commit suicide, or just talk.

Signed:

Black Canary

"I want you to sign it." Black Canary said and handed Robin a pen.

Robin signed it.

This is how I got out of my cutting habits.

Feel free to make a sheet and sign it.

Because of a contract like this, I've never cut again.

I was so fortunate to have someone who cared.

I want everyone to have that opportunity too.

So, let me be your light.

Talk to me.

'Cause I'll listen.
