Chapter Two: But Is He Gay?

Jace's P.O.V
Having grown tired from walking, I decided to rest at a nearby empty park. It makes since of how empty it was, since it was late, and it looked like it would rain soon. I sat on a swing and slowly started to swing myself.

My phone vibrated, knowing it was either my mom or dad since I have no friends, I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Jace! Where have you been all day? Me and your father are worried sick!"

I sighed, knowing they aren't really all that worried. It's just an act they put on so I could behave the way they want me to.

"Sorry mom. Don't worry about me, i'm fine. I just stopped at the park for a bit, i'll be home soon."

"Okay, just hurry up. It looks like it's about to rain soon."

As if on que, rain began to pour down violently. I sighed.

"Yeah, I noticed. I'll be on my way now...Bye mom."

I hung up and put the phone back in my pocket. It's a good thing my phone is water proof. I know I said I was going home, but I don't really want to. I know if I go home i'll have to face...them...I'm still mad at them for the whole 'arranged marriage' thing. How could they?

"Jace?" Did I just hear someone call out my name? No, I couldn't have. Who would call my name? My mom and dad are at home, and I have no friends. I'm a loner...(T＿T)

"Oh my gosh, Jace!" Well, i'm going crazy. It's either that, or there is someone else around here named Jace. But, what idiot will be out in this storm? Oh right...me...‾︿‾ Though, it's actually kinda nice!

Just imagine being alone in the rain, the moon is out, it's quiet, and there is nobody else ar-

I'm on the ground...(T＿T)
And now my head hurts. I looked up and saw some guy pinning me to the ground.

'Oh my god, sexy rapist!'

Really? That's the first thing that comes to mind? Who knows if this guy even wants to rape me? What if he just wants to kill me? Or perhaps kidnap me? No, i'm too ugly to kidnap.
"Get off me please."
I may be in the worst situation right now, but I know my manners! I was raised well...sort of...

"Jace, it's me, Blake!" Blake? Blake...hmmm. Sounds very familiar. Like that one childhood friend I once had. His name was Blake. We were the bestest friends! I secretly had a crush on him, but don't tell him that. No one was able to seperate us...except my dad. My dad said that us 'wealthy' can't be seen hanging around 'filth' like him.

We seperated 6 years ago. Haven't seen him since. Wait a minute..."Blake? As in, Blake Hoying?" Blake nodded, smiling brightly at me. I almost squealed. Almost.

My best friend is back! I pushed him off of me and tackled him in a hug. Oh my gosh, he's so muscular! Blake chuckled and hugged me back. "I've missed you too, friend." I have a friend now! ☆＼(^ω^＼)

I wonder how he knew it was me, and what is he doing in the rain? What will he say about me being gay? Is he gay? Too much questions that I sha'll ask later!
