Time to Say Goodbye

Rachel POV
It's been a nice week of recovery. Nana still doesn't let Finn stay the nights due to Christine being born sooner than expected for our age. So Finn sneaks in the window. But she gave me back my powers. Santana and Brittany are finally going public with their relationship. Quinn met puck, Finns best friend, and they claim to not like each other but we all see right through them. It's been nice.

Christine POV
As much as I love just chilling here in the past, I can't stay. He keeps sending me messages to come home. After seeing him how he was, is, ugh, you know what I mean, I can sort of forgive him for neglecting my existence. But I won't fully forgive him till he cleans up his act. After a while I just ignored the messages though, so I don't know if anythings changed. I just know if I don't go back for him, I should at least go back for my aunts. Plus it's almost that time of the year when I visit the cemetery. I have to go back and soon, for them.

"Hey mo...Rachel" I say walking into the living room where she lays with da...Finn, still weird
"What's up Christie" she asks sitting up

It's so remarkable how similar we act. Growing up she was always so superior and strict. Looking at her teenage self, she seems so care free, sassy, and cool. Practically how I act.

"I hate to burst your bubble, but I have to go home" I say sad

I've grown so attached to them

"What, why?" Finn and her ask
"It's time, I've been spending time in the past, more than I should've" I say
"Can't you stay for like a month more?" Rachel asks while getting up
"No" I whisper

Finn and Rachel look at me and they just hug me. I stand still but then I return the hug. We just hug each other for what seems like forever. As much as I want to stay in their arms, I can't, so I pull away. I see Rachel with glossy eyes

"I'll call the girls, so we can start the spell" she says sad

I nod as Finn just stares at me. It's weird, really. He totally went off the rails in my future but here, he's just a teenager in love. I can't hold it against him right now. So I hug him tight and I whisper

"I love you dad"
"I love you too kiddo" he says back

I let the tears fall, I forgot how caring my dad use to be. I'm going to miss it.

Rachel POV
Santana and Brittany just finished the potion, Quinn and nana have the spell and Finn and I are across from Christine. Santana throws the potion opening the portal. Christine hugs each and every one of us until finally she stops at Finn and I.

"I still have so much to ask you" Christine said with tears
"Ask us in the future" Finn smiles
"Yeah, this isn't goodbye, it's see you later" I smile

Christine smiles and hugs us tight.

"I love you mom and dad" she says in our ears

I let a tear fall because this is the first time she actually calls me that

"We love you too Christie" I say

She pulls away and smiles,

"See you later"

Christine POV
Before I jump I the portal I tell them all

"see you later"

Then I jump, now all they have to do is say the spell.

Through time and space, send her back to her place

All the witches in the room chanted as the blue portal closed before their eyes

"See you later daughter" Rachel whispered smiling

Christine POV
In an instant I'm back home. I'm in my room though, not the living room, like before. I check my calendar and it shows that I've only been gone for an hour, weird.

"Christine Marie Hudson! Get your butt down here!" I hear.
I'm so confused
"Mom?" I whisper as I walk down the stairs

Slowly I walk down and I enter the living room. It's sort of the same as it was before I left. I see the living room floor scattered with toys. I slowly and carefully enter the kitchen and I see her back facing me.

"Yes?" I ask unsure

She turns around causing me to jump. It's my mom, she's alive, I stopped it, I stopped the war from happening. I actually did it.

"Where have you been?" She asleep crossing her arms
"I-I-I...." I couldn't find the words to speak
"You have fun buddy?" I hear

I turn around and find my dad with a smile on his face holding Ben.

"Ben?" I whispered me going towards him
"Oh, looks like someone's in trouble" my dad says pointing to my mom
"If I told you I time traveled to the past would you believe me?" I asked
"Just sit down and eat your dinner' my mom smirked

My dad and Ben rushed to the table digging in. We were having stake. Hm, no wonder they're eager to eat.

"Hey, save some for me the woman who actually cooked this" my mom said

I just smiled because I've  missed her. For once in a long time, I'm home and I'm happy.

"Sorry" they said with their mouths full
"Why sho wuiet Christie?" My brother said with his mouth full
"Chew" my mom said stern
"I'm just really happy to be home with you guys" I say smiling
"Well were happy your happy" my dad said smiling at my mom

They stared at each other with so much love after all these years. For once everything is just right. Not normal, just......right.
