It was pretty hard waking up the next morning for school, it's the only second day and I'm already dreading it

Atleast Dan will be there

I smiled

I got out of my comfy bed getting welcomed into a warm shower

After the 10 minute stress free showers I stepped out finding a yellow plaid buttoned up shirt and some black skinnies with some dark blue converse and red laces. I straighten my hair after drying it and ran for the kitchen, I was greeted by my tired mother "hey philly" she smiled

"Hello mum" I say as I grab a piece of toast from the toaster

"That was mine, silly" she laughed, wiping the tired out of her eyes

"Sorry I'm trying to get food fast, I just don't wanna miss Dan were supposed to be walking to school together"

"So do you like this Dan boy?" She smirked

My face instantly turns red, "no. Of course not," I lied

"Sureee" she said sarcastically "he is pretty cute" she laughed taking a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah, I guess"

She rolled her eyes, and turned her attention to the window, "speaking now of pretty boy"

"Mom!" I shouted, and got up grabbing my bag, heading for the door

Mum then shouted as I walked out "oh yeah and tonight we hav-"

I shut the door, walking up to Dan, he was wearing an ordinary black t-shirt with black skinnies and black vans.

"Dark" I laughed as I walked up to him

"What?! I'm wearing my emotions" Dan chuckled as we started walking towards school.

"Of course you are"

The rest of the walk to school consist of me and Dan talking about random video games.

As we walked in we were instantly greeted by a teacher, "Hello Daniel." She said looking towards Dan

"hey ms. Luton," he sighed "so what'd I do today?" He seemed to roll his eyes

"Nothing, just checking on you" ms. Luton smiled cheesy at him.

"Okay.." He had a questionable expression on his face,

"Oh yeah!" She smiled "I forgot to mention your stepdad called, he said he wants you to stay after school and not come home until after 4"

"What why?!" Dan looked at her, I just sat there awkwardly watching as they conversate

"He wants you to make better grades, I guess"

Dan sighed and looked at me, "wanna go get some breakfast?"

I nodded

"Bye" I said quietly as me and Dan walked from ms. Luton to the cafeteria

"You and Ms. Luton seem close" I suddenly said breaking out silence as we walked.

"Not really, she's just a bitch who's always up my ass"

"Language Dan, Well Daniel" I giggled

Dan gave me the death glare basically saying 'I will kill you'

As we walked into the cafeteria, I see students yelling across the cafeteria, just being noisy teenagers.

"why did you wanna go to breakfast?" I asked with a sigh
