A smile spread across my face. Harry lifted my shirt, and kissed from my stomach all the way up to my neck. His lips were warm, and soft like the inside of a rose. He finally reached my lips, and took my bottom lip in between his teeth, causing a gasp to escape my lips.

He pulled away from me slowly, leaving me wanting more. I ran my hand through his hair, and he grabbed them.

“It’s all about you,” he whispered.

I nodded my head, as Harry began to slide my pants down. I closed my eyes, and waited for his skin on mine. I felt his lips trailing up my legs, and he finally reached my panties. As he was about to remove them from me, my phone started ringing.

“Really?” Harry said.

“Will you see who it is, it might be my mom.” I said.

Harry stood up, and grabbed my phone.

“That looks like the number from the hospital.” Harry said.

“Answer it.” I said nervously.

Harry answered my phone. I was shaking.

“Hello?” He said.

“Hi, is there an Scarlet McVay there, this is urgent.” A voice said on the other line.

“Yeah, here she is.” Harry said handing me the phone.

I took it, and Harry came over and put his arm around me.

“This is Scarlet.” I said, my voice shaking.

“Your mother is in the hospital. She was hit by and eighteen wheeler, and is in critical condition. We don’t know how much longer she has, so you should get down here now.” The man said.

               I dropped my phone.

“Harry we need to go to the hospital now!” I shouted, my eyes filling with tears.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked.

“It’s my mother.” I said.

“Slow down, Scarlet what’s going on?” Harry asked calmly.

I slid my pants back on, and grabbed onto Harry’s chest. He wrapped his arms around me.

“We need to go now, please, just please let’s go.” I said.

“Okay, okay.” Harry replied, leading me out of the house, and into the car.

We drove to the hospital in silence. The other noises I could here were my ragged breaths, and wind. Harry held my hand the entire way there.

When we got there, I rushed straight to the front desk.

“Where is my mom!” I shouted crying.

“Last name?” The lady said calmly.

I could barely breathe. My mom could be dying somewhere, and this lady didn’t even have any sense of urgency in her at all.

“McVay.” Harry said.

“She’s in the ICU. I need some ID.” The lady said.

I buried my face into Harry’s chest, as he removed my wallet from my pocket. He pulled out my license and handed it to the lady.
