Interrupting Bliss

"What about our relationship?" I ask. I'm completely thrown off by his question. I move off his lap and sit in front of him wanting to see his face. Yup still gorgeous.

"Well do you have any feelings for me?" He asks.

Fortunately the closet door opens and Ian immediately stands. I see Paul standing outside and I can't help to feel relief for not being able to answer Ian's question. He seems like a cool person and very attractive but I'm not sure I'm ready for a relationship with him. We just met today and I'm not sure if he is a trustworthy person or not. Ian helps me to my feet so I could stand.

"That's the second time you interrupted us today." Hisses Ian at his brother.

"Well I thought you would like to know that someone called the police and they should be on there way." Paul says. He seems braver and more confident in front of his brother than he was before.

"Just peachy" Ian grumbles and he takes my hand leading me out of the closet.

Teens are scattered around the house,all running towards the nearest exit. I try to look for Beth and Hayley but they are no where to be seen, I look over Paul.

"Where did Hayley and Beth go?" I ask him

"I don't know,this place is pretty hectic " says Paul

"Do you want me to walk you home?" Ian says and I know he wants to finish our conversation in the closet. I just don't have an answer for him yet.

"No I need to find my friends" I say and now I notice that me and Ian have been holding hands, I get get out of his reach and I make my way back to the living room which is vacant. Then I go to the front of the house and they are not on the lawn. But I see cop cars coming this way. Shit. If I was to get arrested my parents would kill me the minute they bail me out.

"I heard Austin took Hayley home" Paul says from behind me

"And what about Beth? I ask and he shrugs

'Come on, I'll take you home" he says and he leads me to the woods. He then puts his arm around my shoulder and it gives me shivers. He notices and looks down at me.

"You cold?" He ask

"No, I'm fine besides it isn't that long of a walk" I say but he unzips his sweater and puts it over my shoulders.

"Thanks"

"No problem" he says with a smile and I can't help but smile back.

"So how much trouble do you think you're in when you get home?"

"Not much. Ian always throws parties, my parents know its not me"

"You're not a party person?"

"Nah, I usually just stay in my room or something"

"Loner" I cough and he laughs

"Yea I guess"

"If you usually stay in your room, what made you join this party?"

"I heard you were coming" he says shyly. I'm shocked he admitted and I don't know what to say to that. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable" he says after a while.

"No you didn't,I'm just surprised you said it"

"I understand if you don't want to be in a relationship," and we are already by the side of my house, "but Bliss," he stops and pulls me close to him and he kisses me on the lips. I place my hands on his chest to push him away but I don't have the strength. Surprisingly his kiss is rougher Ian's. Very,uh, forceful. When he pulls away I can't help but stare into his intense green eyes. What. Just. Happened.

"Um hi" and i look to see Beth standing next to Ian, who looks furious might I add. What is this?? Interrupt Bliss Day??

"Heyy" I say nervously pulling myself away from Paul. God I bet my face is as red as a tomato.

"I found your friend, I thought I should bring her here." says Ian coldly, and Beth gives him a nasty look and I bite my lip to hold in my laugh.

"Thanks, we should go inside now Beth." I say hurriedly and I grab her and we tell the boys good night and I lead her to my front porch.

"What was that about?" She asks

"I really wish I knew, but lets talk about it later I don't wanna wake up my parents or we are both dead." I say and we we enter my house and tiptoe all the way to my room. It isn't until I'm changing my clothes I realize that I'm still wearing Paul's sweater. I decide to sleep with it and me and Beth lie down on my bed and slowly drift to sleep.
