Georgia POV:
"Hey Ashley!" I say walking up to her and hugging her.
"Hey! It's been awhile. How's Brantley doing? How are you doing?"
"We're great! He and I are together, you probably have heard that."
"I have. Damn, you are so lucky. He is so fine. He's hot, and I bet that he would be great in bed." She smiles. I look at her with a shocked expression.
"Excuse me? That is my boyfriend that you are talking about. You will never, ever find out. Are you crazy?!"
"Wasn't I the one who got him in high-school, and he left you in the dust?" Ashley says and smirks. I growl at her words.
"I was never left in the dust. You knew that I was falling for him, so you took him from me. You only acted like my friend to make him happy, and truthfully? He never loved you. I was the one he would talk to when you went off with other guys." I spat. Her eyes widen at my words,
"You bitch! He never talked to you. He didn't because I didn't want him to."
"Then who did he talk to? Who went mudding with him? Who went hunting with him because you didn't want to get dirty or stay out in the woods for hours? Me. I'm the one who did." I glare at her. "I'm leaving. I actually believed that you had changed. I was wrong." I turn in leave before I do something that will end up involving the cops. Getting in my truck, I grab my phone and text Brantley.
Brantley POV:
My phone buzzes just as I set up the lights in the willow tree.
"Hey Brant, where are you? You're not at the house" the message from Georgia said. I finish with the lights. There. All finished. Time to go home. I text Georgia back.
"I'll be there in a couple minutes babe." I put my phone away and climb onto my motorcycle. Driving back to the house, I think about how Georgia will react when I ask her to marry me tonight. I hope..no need her to say yes. I love her with everything I have. She's my whole world and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have her.
