As I sit down in the passenger seat in JJ's lambo, I spot the aux cord. Smirking, I plug my phone in while he goes around the car to his seat. I open up my playlist and select the first song. I dance along to the funky beat in the beginning while JJ gets in the car with a surprised look on his face. The song then has a few words, then it comes up to the chorus, where I prepare to scream.

"TAAAAAAKE ON MEEEEEEE!" I scream, obviously scaring JJ. I start laughing as the song finishes. A few more songs play, and the last one starts playing when we're a couple minutes from Nando's. My smile falters a bit, since this was our song. I sigh as the instrumental part continues, having an internal debate about whether or not to skip the song. I decide to let it play.

As the lyrics start playing, I think of everything we'd done together. Us going to prom together, sitting in the park eating sandwiches like a picnic, then lying in the grass, staring at the stars. Everything starts to pass by in front of me incredibly fast, and I try to grasp one good thing that I can think of that won't make me sad. The only thing I can think of is when I won prom queen and he gave me a dozen roses and asked me to dance with him, and he then asked me to be his girlfriend. As the song ends, I mutter the last line of the song.

"Once in a lifetime, you were mine."

We park at Nando's, and JJ turns off the car. He looks at me, and wipes the tears away from my eyes. I faintly smile at him, trying to be polite. We get out and walk in, then wait for a waiter to bring us to a table. It's not insanely crowded, but there are enough people to have most of the tables full with families. The waiter brings us over to a table, and places two menus in front of the seats. We sit down and look at the menu.

"You know, this isn't a date, it's just a friend's thing," JJ says out of the blue, making me look at him.

"Okay," I reply, not knowing what else to say.

"I mean, it can be a date if you want," he says quickly.

"N-no it's f-fine," I mutter, not wanting to elaborate.

After we order our drinks and food, we make small talk, mostly about YouTube and the guys, and I talk about Alex and my experience in America. Turns out they came for a convention that happened near my uni last year, and I wish Harry had told me. Right as we get our food, I see a couple of girls pointing and talking. I give JJ a look, and he turns around, and they squeal. "Fangirls," he mutters under his breath as he turns back around, and the girls come closer.

"Hi we were wondering if you could take a picture with us!" the one on the right says in an ear-splitting high pitched voice, flipping her curly black hair over her shoulder. She was really pretty, even though she was wearing a lot of makeup. Her skin was almost the same shade as JJ's, just a bit lighter.

"Yes, please take a picture with us!" her friends says in an equally high-pitched tone, twisting her bleached blonde hair around her finger. I looked at their outfits, noticing how their boobs were bulging out of their shirts and they let as much skin show as possible. JJ nods, so they all pile in together.

"There's no way we can all fit into a selfie," the one with the black hair says, and I go back to eating my food. "Can you take the picture for us?" she says, turning to me.

I start standing up as her friend says, "no, I'm not letting that little skank touch my phone." I freeze as my hand is inches away from the phone.

"Then she'll use my phone to take the picture and I'll send it to you later," the girl says as she gives me the phone, then turning and looking at me with a small, understanding smile. I smile a bit back, then the two girls go over to JJ and pose for the picture. I take a couple, then hand the phone back to the black haired girl.

"I'm sorry about my friend, she's kind of controlling. I really wish I didn't have to wear clothes like this or this much makeup. But you seem chill, can I have your number?" She smiles, and I nod. We swap phones and put our numbers into the other's phone. She hands me my phone back with a smile on her face, which I gladly return. After she leaves with her friend, I look at my phone screen to see her name.

Aliyah

I sit back down in my seat, with JJ following me actions. We finish our food in silence, not wanting to bring up the two girls that walked in. We then pay and leave, driving back to the house in silence. When we get back, I plop on the couch besides Josh and Simon, who are playing a FIFA match. I end up dozing off, using someone as my pillow.
