ive decided that the first chapter "001" is going to be ethan in the future and all of the other chapters are going to be events leading up to that

Kory's POV

I sprinted as fast as i could away from the man in the street. My adrenaline was pumping and it helped sober me up but i could still feel the effects of the alcohol in my system. My unbalanced body jumps over the curb before falling onto the soft grass, footsteps rushing behind me. I began to cry not knowing what else to do. I felt defeated as i now lay face down on the cold dewy ground, ready to succumb to this man.

I felt a hand on my back and I let out a loud cry. "Please don't hurt me!" I yelled sobbing now. "I don't want to die!" I weep to the stranger.

"I'm not going to kill you." He laughs. I feel his hand on me again and he flips me over pressing 2 of his fingers bellow my eyes and dragging them across my cheeks to rid my face of their tears.

I open my eyes and look at the man; who is barely a man at all. He looks to be about 20. I gasp at his unusual beauty, he looks so flawless but so mysterious. He touched my face in a way that was so gentle like he was afraid of hurting me but the lethal weapon on the ground next to him says otherwise. I look at the gun and begin to scoot away from him in fear.

"shhh I'm not going to hurt you." He whispers, hushing me by moving the hair that had fallen into my face with his fingers. "Im not going to hurt you, you're safe with me, okay?" he asks.

I am unable to speak so I just nod my head. He picks up the gun causing me to tighten up and suck in a sharp breath. He then throws the object into the grass about 20 feet ahead of us, putting both of his hands up in surrender. After he sees i am more relaxed he sticks one of his hands out for me to grab onto and i do. The boy pulls me up from the ground and i almost fall back down but he catches me in his arms. I feel so embarrassed and my cheeks feel
like they bursted in flames.

"Listen.."

"Kory." I answer his unasked but hinted question.

"Kory. You are not going to tell anyone about what you saw tonight." he says sternly,
his complete demeanor shifted.

"I-i wont." I say started to get scared again.

"And i don't believe you." He says and before i know it the world around be went fuzzy and my vision went dark. I blacked out.

wow i updated this!! I had such bad writers block but i think i know what i want to do with this story!!:) check out my newest story "strings" bc i update that every other day
