The Train

THE TRAIN

I walk in my room and shower and change making sure to keep my token with me. It's the closest thing to home I have. I walk to my bed with my clothes on and my pin. I notice a red headed Avox sitting there watching me. She looks worried when I look at her. " My sister knows how you feel. " I say to her and she stares at me. " She's an Avox. They let her stay with us though. " I say and she frowns. I smile and say " I like you. Friends?". She nods and leaves the room. I walk out to the dining room and see Haymitch and Peeta whispering. I look at them and they stop talking. I look at all the food. I sit down and stuff myself feeling nausea after. I go in my room and take a nap falling asleep quickly. Effie wakes me up for dinner. I brush my hair walk out the the dining cart. I sit down and eat slowly. " Any advice?" I say and look at Haymitch. " Stay alive " he says and laughs. " Very funny, but no to us. " Peeta says and slams the bottle of whine out of his hands. Haymitch punches Peeta in the face right where his mother beat him. Haymitch reached for more but as he reaches for it, I grab a steak knife and stab it between his fingers barely missing them. " That is mahogany!!" Effie yells and me. Haymitch looks at me and says" Can you do anything other that with that knife?" he asks and I nod. I pull it out of the table and I throw it at the wall panel right in between the two sides. " Stand over here. " he says and examines us. " Do we actually have some fighters this year " he asks. I nod my head and run off to my room. I fall asleep and my Avox friend wakes me up when we are at the Capitol. I walk out the train with her following me. She follows us to the Training Centre.
