I dive into the food then stop suddenly feeling sick. " So what are we suppose to do at training tomorrow." I ask. " Don't practice the ones your good at. Don't show them your skills " Haymitch says. " What if we don't have one?" I say. Peeta laughs then looks at me. " You probably have your sister's archery skill. Oh and you're good with knives " he says. " Yeah how about you? You're really strong." I say. " Where's that going to get me? " he asks. " You could stab people with a knife. You could do hand-to-hand combat. You could use a sword. " I say and he laughs. I shake my head and stand up. " I excuse myself." I say frustrated. I start to walk away when Peeta walks behind saying " Wait Prim!". I turn around to face him." What?" I complain. " Meet me up on the roof top." he whisper in my ear. I nod and walk off to my room. I lay in my room a little then I look at the clock. 12:00. I sit up and put on a fluffy jacket. I walk out onto the balcony and see Peeta there. " What do you want?" I ask. " Nothing just wanted to ask you some questions" he says flatly. I nod and he starts. " What are you doing for your interview?" he asks me. I think for a little. " I'm going to act innocent. I think I'll be good at it. " I say. He nods then says " What's your plan for the arena?". " Get supplies and a weapon. Get water. Find food. Find shelter." I say. " That's it." he says. I walk down back to my room and go to bed. I get waked up early by Cinna. He hands me clothes and he walks out of the room. I slip on the clothes and I walk out the door and eat breakfast. I walk go the elevator with Peeta beside me. We go down and as soon as we enter they start. I walk over to the first station. Knives. I throw some really well. Getting in the middle each time. I walk over to the next station, then the next. I keep on going till I get to the last. Archery. I grab a bow the looks a good size. I see Glimmer using it. She's not very good. I'll be lucky I she goes with that. That way if they trap me in a tree they can't get me. I grab an arrow and pull back on the white,thin bow string. I let go. I get it in the middle. Glimmer looks at me in surprise and walks over to the Careers talking to me. Marvel, I think, walks over to me and smiles. " So you must get those from someone in your family. Who is it?" he asks me. " My dad. " I say. " You know what I've been wondering, why? When your sister walk up to you but said nothing?" he says. I face goes blank and I remember the moment. " She's an Avox for illegal hunting. I should be too. But oh well. " I say. I know he's about to say something mean but before he does I here crashing behind him. I look over his shoulder and smile. Peeta through a weight at the rack of spears to get Marvels attention so I could run away. Marvel turn around and I ran away swiftly to Rue. " Follow me okay? " she says to me. I don't really know her but i know her name from the reapings. I nod and I follow her. We head to a station by the Careers. She picks up Cato's knife and runs away to the climbing station. I grin following her to the station. Once we get hide up in the station Cato turn over to see its not there. He immediately turns to a boy next to him. He yells and after he's taken away Rue and I giggle. Peeta and Thresh look up I us and shake their heads. We get down and place the knife in the exact same place. " Okay everyone trainings over. " The main trainer said. I walk to the elevator an Marvel catches us with me. What is he doing here? I think to my self. " Meet me on the roof." he sneers. I nod slightly making nobody notices. Marvel is 14 young but old. I think Glimmer loves him. I look over and see Peeta next to me. He must have heard Marvel and I. " Don't " I whisper in his ear. He nods but I can tell he has a worried expression on his face. We get to our floor and eat dinner. " So what did you guys do?" Haymitch asks us. " Well Prim has a date. " Peeta says and smiles. I blush then say " Do not!". " Who with?" Haymitch asks. " A Career. He's 2 years older then her. " Peeta says. " This is a hood thing get close to them they'll become easier to kill. Unless you develope emotions for them. " Haymitch tells me. I walk into my room and change into a green puffy dress. I run up to the roof ad sit down by the flowers naming everyone of them. Marvel comes by me and sits down. " What do you want? My skills?" I ask him. " No " He says and shakes his head ruefully. " What is it then " I ask cautiously. " I don't know how to put this Prim. I like you. An when I say like I mean love. " he says. I sit there shocked by what he just said. " What's the use if we both die though?" I say. " Well maybe right now we can enjoy this moment. " he says softly and almost in a way I can't hear him. He hugs me tightly and I'm surprised at first but I hug him back. I say bye and walk inside to see Peeta standing at my door way blocking me to get in my room. " So how'd it go?" he asks. " Not right now Peeta. " I say. He doesn't budge. " You forced me to do this " I say. I grab his arm and flip him over my shoulder. Him landing on the ground with a thud. Haymitch, Effie, Cinna, and Portia rush in. " Told ya not to mess with me " I say. I go in my room and slam the door shut. It slams into his head. I laid down and go yo soles still not believing what Marvel said. The days go by one after the other. Today is Private Lessons and Interviews. I walk down to the metal room. I've decided I'm going to do Archery. I sit down on the bench. The Careers eyes follow Marvel as he walks over and sits by me. " Hi " I say. " Hey how you doing?" he says. I shrug and say " Good ". He kisses me on the cheek and I'm surprised by the spark I feel. He walks away to the Careers and sad something I can tell he's lying. " Guys I'm just trying to make her an easy victim. " he says. He turns around to fake smile at me and winks. I smile back and blow a kiss to him. I miss him already. He gets called and I give him a thumbs up. He nods and walks in. I sit there waiting for my turn. " Primrose Everdeen" says a robotic voice. The doors slid open and I walk in. " Primrose Everdeen " I say strongly. They look at me but the keep on doing what there doing. I shot three arrows right in the bullseye. I look to the Gamemakers with only one arrow left and notice all their attention on a roasted pig. I grin and load my bow. I aim for the apple and shot it through. " Thank you. Oh an can I have the apple?" I say. They nod and throw it down to me. I nod and eat the apple on the way out. I walk in the elevator to my floor. Effie gasps when she sees the apple. " Where'd you get it?!" she asks/screams. I shrug " Gamemakers " I say. I run up to the roof silently. I see Marvel there and I walk quietly over to him. I jump on his back and cover his eyes. " Who is it ? " I say in a deep voice. He shrugs and pulls me around a sits me on the balcony and kisses my cheek. " You still haven't answered. " I say in the deep voice again. He laughs and says my name. We talk and talk until its time to go to bed. He kisses me good night on the cheek and he walks away. I sigh and walk inside all dreamy. I sit on the couch and wait for my score. 11! I scream and jump up and down. Instead of going to bed I get up and go to Marvel's floor. I run on the balcony and see him there. " Couldn't stay away from me? " he asks. I laugh and kiss him on the lips. Oops. We both stand there shocking as fireworks still exploded inside me. " Sorry. I lost control. I... " I say but Glimmer walks out and interrupts us. " Whatcha doing?" she says. " Nothing.. I was just leaving " I say. " Wait Prim. " he shouts behind me. I stomp up the stairs? Why was I so stupid? Why do I trust him I'm so dumb? He catches me on the roof and pulls me in for another kiss. He stops after one. He smiles at me and kisses cheek. I smile and hug him then go to bed.
