Sunlight filtered through the thin white curtains and onto my face. I blinked awake, finding myself on top of Michael.
"Get up!" I poked his face until his eyes opened. Once the confusion left his expression, he gazed up at me lovingly.
"Good morning, love," he cooed to me, kissing my cheek.
I bit back a goofy smile. "How did I end up here?" I questioned.
"Nothing happened. You just crawled on top of me. You looked so cute and peaceful that I didn't want to move you." He saw my concerned face and frowned. "Why are you so worried? I love you, you know I'd never do something so stupid."
"True," I sighed. I put my face close to his and kissed him deeply. His hands slid down to the small of my back where my skin was exposed. I gasped, pulling away slightly. "Your hands are really warm."
"Is that bad?" he asked in a half-teasing manner. The way he stared at me was so adoring, I felt perfectly loved. It was hard to describe with just words.
"Not at all," I replied. I straddled his waist to get even closer. My hands were on his face, with my thumbs stroking his cheeks.
The door swung open. "Shit!" I looked up wide-eyed. Jackie, Marlon, and Tito were in the doorway.
"You need some more time?" Marlon giggled. If there was one thing I definitely didn't miss, it was Michael's brothers coming in whenever they pleased.
"Wait a minute, is that...Lily!" Jackie exclaimed. "You left so suddenly last time! I didn't even get to say good-bye, sis!"
"You didn't even tell them what happened?" I whispered to Mike.
"How was I? I barely knew myself," he exhaled back.
"We'll be back in a couple minutes. Give you some time to untangle," Tito laughed. He closed the door, leaving us in silence.
"Now that we have a time limit, I want you even more." I wrapped my fingers in Michael's short, loose curls. It's crazy what the adrenaline rush of getting caught does to a person.
"I know. But I'm sure my brothers have their ears against the door," he replied. Although his words were rational, he continued to caress my thighs in a way that drove me insane.
"Why do they have to be here now?" I whined. Mike grabbed my hips and rolled me off him. I fell limply onto the bed.
Don't get me wrong, I love Jackie, Tito, and Marlon. They were like my big brothers growing up. They protected me against anyone who seemed even a little bit mean to me. But ever since Michael and I started dating, they always arrived at the most inconvenient times.
"What are they even here for? I groaned as Mike slipped into a pair of jeans.
He shrugged. "I have no idea. Trust me, I want them gone as much as you do. Open the door." He gestured loosely toward the door. I barely turned the knob when it swung open.
"Did you guys finish up everything?" Marlon asked, winking. He strolled in, Jackie and Tito following more slowly. "You two still go at it like teenagers?" he joked.
I shot him a glare. "Do you have to comment on our sexual activity every time you see us?" I snapped.
"Just wanna know how my baby sister's doing!" Marlon defended himself. He put his hands up in denial.
"I'm not your sister, Marlon. What I do is private," I sniffed. Michael squeezed my waist.
"But Mike is my baby brother," he pointed out. "It's important for me to know if he's getting any."
