Sarah's POV:

It was a cold december night. I wrapped in clothes from head to toe but i still had a bit of a shiver. I wanted to be alone. It wasn't what i wanted to happen. I just wanted to forget. I looked out into the almost frozen lake. Deep enough, i thought, to drown in and nobody will find me. I was miles from my car so it was fine. Laying next to me were rocks with strings. I just sat there, thinking how my world could fall apart more. Every star in the sky shined and a tear fell from my eye. It was not helping that i couldn't allow myself to get up. This wasn't amy different then the time i cut myself. I hated myself for being the way i was. I had nobody and i am usually fine with being alone but i wanted someone here. Things were going downhill fast. I laid back and looked at the clock, 10:30. My curfew was in half an hour. Then they would start looking. I decided to give myself another ten minutes. I wrote my final goodbyes to the people who still loved me. I sat up. Three more minutes so i began tying the other end of the strings to my wrist. Then two each to both legs. 150 pounds would hold my 107 pound body to the ground. I dragged my feet across the ground pulling forwards even though the ropes were giving me burns. The drop off was a foot in front of me. I said my finally goodbye to my best friend. He'd been through it all with me. Tears steamed down my eyes and i began to cry frantically. I wanted to go but not leave him. He would probably die also with the pain. I tried to turn but the rock fell off the edge. I screamed hoping anybody would hear but i knew it was no help. No lived around for miles. Then i couldn't hold it and it pulled me under. It was a few seconds then i hit the bottom. I tried to untie my knots and got ones of my legs off but it was too late to get the ones on my arms. I saw a figure swim towards me, he looked like angle. Before he reached me everything went black. Darkness.

I escaped the darkness. And came up chocking. My team hurt and was bleeding. There was a ringing in my ears and water in my mouth. A boy over me was pumping my chest, i think for CRP but everything was blurry. I opened my eyes wider and saw him. He had sparking blue eyes. I could hear dings. I knew it was my phone. I sat up and had about 70 messages from my mom brother and best friend i could read. It hurt my head a little. This boy kept me in his arms. They were strong. I looked back up at his face, he had a calm face and stared straight into my eyes. This face was delicate. He was dripping wet. He was the angel that saved me. Then the ambulance came with its sirens blaring. I cupped by ears trying to block out sound. I began to sob. The boy brought my ear into chest and covered the other ear. It still hurt and felt like the rocks that were tied to my were being smashed against my head. I couldn't take it. It was too much. I was loosing grips with reality. My head was making my vision go blurry. The tears streamed down my face. My ears had a loud ring. Like my phone was inside my ears. I just didn't want to handle it and couldn't. My body was closing up. Maybe it was actually over now. But i would not tell my angel thank you. I looked up at him and with the last energy i had left i opened my mouth to speak but before i could, again all i saw was darkness. My mind went blank. And i drifted away.
