Rich Girl Life

My alarm clock rang. It echoed through the room. It rang until it got annoying.

I lifted my arm and hit the snooze button. I lay there awake. Silence quickly filled my room. I regret turning off the alarm. It reminded me of the silence that always echo’s through the house.

My room was still dark. I like it this way.

I lay there until I heard a knock on my door. There was another knock a few seconds later. I knew it was time to face reality.

"Come in," I said sitting up.

"Good Morning, Ella. I brought you some breakfast," James, my butler said. I could see that he was a lost because of the darkness.

"Thank you, James. Did father leave yet?" I asked. James put the tray down on a small table and walked to my curtains.

"Yes, Mr. Jones left around five this morning. He told me to tell you that he will be here before your birthday," he said as he opened the curtain. The sudden light blinded me.

"Oh, why am I still surprised," I told myself. I hunched my shoulders and blinked to adjust to the lighting.

The out if nowhere my stomach growled. I looked up to James to see him with the tray in his hands again. The smell was not helping my hunger but worsen it.

"Let’s get eating. Your stomach cannot wait any longer," he said placing it on my bed.

"Yes well food it always food," I answered. I picked my fork and dug in my big breakfast. I moaned in my first bite. Chef makes the best food ever.

"Ehem," I looked up to see him tapping on his watch, "you have less than twenty minutes till you get to school. Think you can make it?"

"If I did not know better I think you are going mad. Then again I am mad too," I said with my mouth full. I swallowed my food.

"I guess we have see do we not," I said shoving another spoonful. He nodded.

"Well, Ella, I have other matters to attend so please excuse me," he said walking out and closing the doors with him.

I looked up to the clock to see it have eighteen minutes. I shoved another spoonful of my food down my mouth.

I chewed on my food as I got my uniform out. I was heading towards the shower and looked at the time. The shower can wait. I swallowed before I got out of my pajamas. I grabbed more food before I got into my uniform.

I fell trying to get into my tights as fast as I could. The buttons on my shirt made it impossible today. At the end, I made it in my uniform.

I ran to the bathroom but not without food in my mouth. I brush my hair into a tight ponytail. My makeup bag was a disaster. I did not put much on when you cannot find anything.

I took the last part of my food and put everything in my small school bag. At the end, I brushed my teeth and added my shoes. One last check if everything was on place before I ran out the door.

I ran down the hallway, down the stairs, down another hallway and to the front door.

"Ready," I said. James stood there looking at his watch. He looked up and smiled

"Good job. You got ready in lest then twenty minutes and with five minutes to spare. You are getting good at this Ella," he said opening the door. I stepped out not before saying thank you.

Fred stood there opening the door to the limo. He smiled and I gladly smiled back.

"Good Morning Ella," he said
