I checked my phone to see the bell is about to ring soon. I picked up my things. I stood up and was about to walk to school when someone crashed into me. I looked to see Chris walking to the car. He picked up last night’s hoe and shoved her in the car. As he walked to the driver’s side, he looked somewhere.

I glanced to see Ella looking back. She for once was not wearing her smile.

“You okay?” Someone asked. I broke away and saw Luke kneeling next to me.

“Oh um Yeah I am fine,” I said. I got up and felt my bum sore. There is probably a new bruise to add to my list.

Luke was looking back towards Ella. She was walking over. I pancaked. I am getting way more attention then I need. My brother is going to come any minute and tell me to go home.

“Hey are you okay? Do you need to go to the nurse’s office? You want Luke to take-“Ella was cut off by my brother.

“Jessie,” he said. The way he said it meant he wanted to talk to me. I smiled at Ella and Luke. They make a good couple.

“No worries. I am fine. Thank you though,” I said. Ella nodded and I walked towards my brother. He was angry.

“Jessie can’t you at least try and get out of his way,” he said grabbing my arm. He had a nice grip and I knew another bruise was forming.

“I am sorry. It won’t happen again,” I said lowering my head. He grabbed my other arm. He looked into my eyes.

“Can you at least try to act normal? It is embarrassing that you are my sister,” he said. His grip was making my arms hurt.

“Josh can you let go of me? You are hurting me,” I said lower than a whisper. He did not his grip got tighter. I felt tears starting to form.

“Didn’t you hear the girl she said let her go?” Someone said from behind. Ella and Luke were there standing.

Josh let go of me and he pushed me along the way that I fell to the ground. Tears were already falling down my face. I am in so much trouble when I get home.

“What do you want Ella,” my brother said, “This isn’t any of your business.”

“Josh pleasure seeing you again,” she said changing to topic. She was helping me getting up. I was grateful.

“Come on Jessie, let’s take you to the Nurse,” she said walking away from my brother.

“Hey,” Josh yelled, “that is my sister.”

“I know,” she said. I like Ella. She is not mean. She tries to avoid an argument and she is helping me.

“Why are you doing this,” I asked.

“I am doing this is because you needed help,” she said. Then I noticed Jason at the door.

“What is he doing here?” I asked

“I do not know. I have been trying to get rid of him but he keeps appearing everywhere,” she said. I giggled and she smiled. Jason looked down at me and frowned.

“I take her from here,” he said.

“Are you sure?” she asked me and ignored Jason. Jason is nice he has stopped me from suffering. He breaks some of the rules to help me. So yes, I am sure. I nodded.

“Well then I have to head to class? I hope to see you better Jessie,” she said as she left. Jason was already walking away with me to the nurse’s office.

“Is she secretly dating Luke?” I asked him trying to keep a conversation.

“Luke, you mean that helped you. I sure hope not. Why you ask?”

“They are always glancing at each other and when she arrives early to school him there,” I said. I looked up to see him angry.

“I am sorry I didn’t mean to anger you. I am sorry please don’t tell Chris or Josh or the alpha,” I said quickly. I stopped.

“Don’t think that. I was just angry with myself that I did not even know that. God I could be dating her this moment and none of this would of happen,” he said pinching his nose.

“I think that would have scared her off,” I said. He looked up at me and smiled.

“I bet you are right,” he said, “I talk to her tomorrow see what I can get then other than a date Saturday. Maybe a study date. I heard she is smart.”

I looked at him and frown. She leaves for two day. She is gone the day before and the day of her birthday. She always does that.

“She isn’t here for the rest of the week,” I said.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“He leaves the day before and the day of her birthday. She done that since she was little,” I said.

“I need to make you my new investigator,” he said. I laugh. We arrived at the nurse office and he told me he is going to drop me off at the house. I just nodded and entered. I was happy for the nice people in the world.

I am the just the girl who needs Help.
