I lay alone
Below this land
Talking to no one
This is not so grand.

Lying still
Beneath the stone
That says my name
And hold my bones.

I'm all alone
Until you come
Standing at my grave
And place down some gum.

A packet of gum
I had everyday
I shared with you
My gum anyway.

I didn't like to share
Until I met you
Everyone stank
And smelled like poo.

You came by
To comfort me
Till the day I died
You confronted me.

I took the rope
I took the gun
I grabbed the pills
And made a run.

I stole the items
It was my last day
No reason to live
You didn't care anyway.

I decided to use the rope
And tied it to the fan
Instead of writing a note
I had a plan.

I called you
And you came over
You bust open my door
And became sober.

You begged me to stop
Stop what I was doing
You said I wasn't thinking
Stop what you are doing.

I asked what you would do
If I would listen
You said you'd be nice
And learn to blissen.

I took the rope
And cut it loose
Im now free
But you act like a goose.

You run towards me
With arms open wide
I thought you would hurt me
I shot you in the side.

I ran towards you
But it was too late
You were on the floor dead
There was no fate.

I grabbed the rope
And tied another knot
Wrapped it around my head
And picked a spot.

Took my final breath
And took the leap
Only you woke up
And curled into a heap.

You went for the gun
And said goodbye
It went from a silent room
To a room where people sigh.

You pulled the trigger
And met me again
"I thought you were dead."
"No next time. You won the game."

The police took me down
And put me in a bag
They dragged your body
Like an old rag.

It was both of our funerals that day
Until your brother came along
And waited
And stayed.

I don't know why you killed yourself
If it was your brother to pay
I gave him the gum
While you had no say.

You stayed with me
And he let me go
I was a selfish bitch
Not to have known.

It was you
That brought me fate
But like everything
We had a best before date.
