Chapter 4 My First Day in Princeton

Scott's POV

It was already morning, and I was already eating breakfast my mom prepared since she goes to work early.  As I continue to eat my omelet, I couldn't stop thinking about Jessica hurting Melody. I know she can be a little flirty towards me, but it's so annoying. I couldn't bear to see Melody get hurt because of me. As I continued to eat my breakfast my phone rang. I then quickly took it and saw it was Melody. All this thinking about Melody made me tired. Now she's calling me. This is the first time Melody ever called me. Plus how did she get my number? I answered it, but before I could I say something she quickly said " If you're gonna tell me how I got your number, It's because you gave it to me during Geology. I smiled remembering that memory. I almost saw her falling asleep. I then asked " Why are you calling me? She replied saying "Just hurry up with your breakfast, and go outside prepared and ready for your new school k? I didn't understand what she meant, but I agreed.

A few minutes later....

I finished preparing myself, said goodbye to mom and went outside. I was so shocked to see what was waiting for me. A limo, and Melody completely irritated since she was waiting for me for a long time. When she saw me, she said " I have been waiting for you for a long time. Luckily it's still early come on let's go. She then grabbed my hand and went inside the limo. She then told the driver that we were ready. The limo then started moving. I then asked "How did you get this limo? She then replied in a bored expression saying
" My brother wanted us to have an awesome entrance. She then told me about her brother who used to be one of the Top Ten Royals. I was so shocked that my jaw dropped ( not literally) The driver then said Lady Melody we're here. He opened the door to see thousands of students looking at us. Melody stepped out then I followed. Then I heard some students saying Melody is the sister of one of Top Ten Royals since Melody has a crown bracelet that was given by his brother. Then one student came up to us and said Are you the sister of Jacob Crescent? She nodded and said "Yes I am. My name is Melody Crescent. The students then squealed since she's famous around here. Then she was surrounded by hundreds of students no thousands making me push back. Then when I was about to expect a fall, I wasn't. I looked up to see a boy with black curly hair and blue eyes smiling at me. I quickly got up and introduced myself. He then said Nice to meet you I'm Leon Kazanaki, one of the students here. He then said I hope you enjoy your first day of school with your friend. He meant Melody so I nodded. Then the first bell rang, and the students went inside with Melody. I was alone,but I had Leon here with me. So we went together to see which class I was in.

Melody's POV

Man, my first day is turning great I guess. During the big crowd, I kinda lost Scott. I sighed. I hope he's okay. Then I realized what I was thinking and slapped myself in the cheek, making the other students look at me.  I was kinda embarrassed, so I ran to a place where no one could see me.

A few minutes later...

I was somewhere in the school, so I stopped. Now back to what I was thinking. I can't believe I was thinking about Scott. He was my no. 1 enemy. I explored the place for a bit before I will go to the classroom.

I then spotted a boy who was reading a book under a tree. He looked at me for a while before he went back to reading the book. That was weird. Since I've explored enough of the school, I went to the classroom.

While going to the classroom, I bumped into a girl. She stood up, and helped me. She then said "I'm sorry. Oh my gosh I bumped into Ms. Melody. I'm sorry." When we both stood up I said "Oh it's okay." The girl then introduced herself as Dalia Cortez. She was wearing red glasses and had her hair tied in a ponytail. I smiled and said "So Dalia how about we can be friends?" She smiled and nodded. We shook hands and headed to the classroom where I saw Scott talking to someone. I'm glad both of us already have a friend here. When he saw me, he waved to me. I sighed and sat in front of him. He then introduced me to Leon. We then chatted until our teacher came inside the classroom.
