3 years later

Marrissa's P.O.V.

Its been 3 years ever since my mother died and its been three years since my brother and i moved in with my aunt, my mom's sister. I changed alot since my mom died and i like my new change.  When my mom died i was chubby with blondish brown hair, blue eyes that were covered up with thick glasses, and my wardrobe consisted of old jeans and band t shirts.  Now i was tall, curvy in all the right places because of my weight loss, and no glasses.  My wardrobe now still had old jeans and my favorite band t shirts but it also had cute jeans, skirts, dressy shirts, and killer shoes.  My face had pretty sparkling blue gray eyes, a long straight nose, medium natural pinkish red lips and a stubborn chin and jaw that i inherited from my mom.  I wasn't gorgeous but i wasn't ugly either.  Alot of the mean girls thought i was a slut because my curves are natural and they had to buy theirs but I'm not, in fact I'm still a virgin.  The only person i could truly trust out of everyone at my high school was my best girl friends (I'm not a lesbian BTW) Skylar and Deanna, yes Ive been friends with them since junior high, and my absolute best friend, Spencer.

 I always had a secret crush on him and it just grew more over the years but i know i cant tell him because i know he doesn't feel the same way about me.  I mean why like your best friend when you have gorgeous girls throwing themselves at you all the time?  Anyways Spencer is gorgeous.  He's 6"2" with an amazing body from playing football, hockey, and lacrosse.  He has washboard abs that all the girls swoon over including me and he has black hair that looks like silk and you just want to run your fingers through it.  His face is male perfection, he has the most mysterious green eyes ever with little flecks of gold in them, his nose is straight, and his jaw is strong and masculine.  I know i sound like a stalker but I'm not its just that i memorized his features because he took a trip to see his dad in Greece and i miss him terribly.  He's coming home in two weeks and i can't wait, I'm practically bursting with excitement.  I'm getting ready for his arrival.  You see his dad lives in Greece because after Spencer's mom and him got divorced he moved back to his home country.  Yes Spencer is half Greek, i call him half Greek god because that's what he reminds me of.  His mom is the sweetest person ever but their marriage just didn't work out i guess.  I love his mom she reminds me so much of my mom that that's what i call her.  She cant wait until he comes home either.  He's been gone for 2 1/2 months now and we've been keeping in contact everyday.  He's happy to see his dad and i cant blame him for wanting to go to another country but i still wish he was here. 

Over the past few months he's been gone alot has happened to me, for instance i got accepted into my dream college,Harvard, and its also the college one of the colleges Spencer got accepted into but he was also accepted at duke and Berkeley.  I know i was taking a risk by focusing all my attention on Harvard but it has the best medical school in the country and i want to become a Cardiac surgeon (heart surgeon) so i have to learn from the best.  Spencer was going to major in photography and i knew he would make it because his pictures are beautiful and he has the focus for that.  He takes the most boring pictures and makes them gorgeous, he has a talent and i cant hold him back.  Any ways i also went to see my dad and let me tell you I'm not going to do it again because my father is a selfish person who wont except the truth but my visit doesn't matter because I'm just going to move on and forget about everything he did to ruin my brother and i's life.
