There it was again! That infuriating eyebrow
raise!
"Are you now?" He said, smiling at my previous comment "I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Scared of the devious glint in his eye, I quickly scrambled off him and said
"We should probably head to the showers before everyone else wakes up" I said, trying to cover the blush that spread like wild fire across my face.
Still with that terrifying aforementioned eye-glint twinkling in his smouldering eyes he got up and grabbed a towel of the rail, and then proceeded to throw another straight in my face. Sighing loudly from under my towel head decoration I felt a hand near my face, and then the towel lifted.
His face was inches from mine, and the corners of his lips betrayed his amusement, but it was his eyes again, that drew all my attention. They focuses on me, and nothing but me. Everything around us seemed to fade into the background as I stared into his eyes, and he stared into mine. He seemed to be getting closer, scanning me intently, as if he wanted to remember every feature of me forever. I had never felt like this before, I hadn't felt special sconce moving to this hell, but now...
My train of thought was cut off as the gap between us became almost nonexistent, and my breath hitched as his eyes set on something below me eyes; my lips.
Suddenly the door slammed open and Lauren walked in hesitated for a moment, then said
"You better get your asses in gear if you wanna get a shower this morning"
Ace got up as she slammed the door on her way out, and stretched his hand out to me
"We better do as the loud girl said if you want a shower"
I grabbed his hand and followed him out of my... Our room, despite the fact he had no idea where he was going, and couldn't help but feel annoyed at Lauren for interrupting our moment, whatever it was...
