The Great Serpents of Earth

You and I we travel on the backs of mighty serpents,
They strech across valleys, hills, moutains, rivers and underground.
We traverse across their backs black and grey,
Adornments of white and yellow they where along the way,
A layer of metal mesh and concrete act to weigh down the beasts below,
Fore I fear if the weigh give way the serpents could devour us.
