Sick Of Alone

Hold the door open for strangers,
Faces,
Voices you'll never see of hear again.
I am alone.

Sitting along the river,
Cast one,
Cast two,
Fish,
Stand proud with your catch,
But feeling an emptiness inside.
You are alone.

Go for a drive down a country road,
Riding beside a four legged friend,
Still I imagine her beside,
Window down, feet on the dash,
Her laugh her, her smile,
Who is she?
I do not know.
