"ANOTHER TURNING POINT A FORK STUCK IN THE ROAD." I sang along to green day as I was getting ready. I don't care what anyone says I'm still a punk ass fan of green day. But today, today was different it was Wednesday. Yeah that's right interview day, and my tummy hurts. It's probably just nerves though, but it's also the day I'll see jack again.

Jack and I have been texting a lot since Saturday. He really is as funny and weird as you think he would be. He's also so sweet. The only thing I'm not quite sure about him is if he thinks today is going to be a date. I mean I would love for him to consider it one, but I don't know if he sees me that way just yet. Anyway I better get dressed I have to leave soon to head to my interview in Baltimore. I contemplated on what to wear for a few minutes before deciding on a set of black skinnies and a sherbet color halter top. Wait did I really just fucking say sherbet instead of orange?? What the fuck Lacey get your head in the game! Shaking my thoughts I quickly slid on a pair of vans, put my phone in my pocket, grabbed my portfolio and walked out into the living room.

"See ya lex!" I said waving bye

"By lazy, good luck" she called back. I think she was a little upset that I was going for the interview because if I get the job that means practically the whole year without me. I mean who could blame her I'm rather amazing. Anyway she'll be fine she has Dylan. Sure they've been dating for only a few days, but she seems to really like him. Anyway I grabbed an apple and headed out the door and down to my car. I love to drive, but I hardly do in the city that's why I take the bus. I mean parking's a bitch and it costs less to take the bus, but for long drives on the beltway I always take my car. Anyway I started my car and headed north, Singing along to the radio and preparing for the interview and the long day that was waiting.

After an hour I finally pulled up to the building. It was tall and grey like most buildings. It didn't say anything on the side really it just say Records And Others. It was rather strange. I walked into the doors and up to the lady in the front desk.

"Hey I have an interview and I don't know where to go." I stressed a bit

"Oh no problem. Yeah it's a bit confusing, this building. It's because most record labels are set out on the west coast so they rent areas like this for the east coast or vise versa, but hopeless records and fearless records rent this one together." She said with a smile

"Oh ok. Um...but where do I go?"

"Right. who's interviewing you?" The lady asked looking up at me

"Tommy Smith." I said reading the paper in my hand

"Right ok...that's for hopeless records. You just take the elevator up to floor eight and his name will me on the door you should go in"

"Ok thanks." I said walking to the elevators. Wow my hands were sweaty. I got out the elevator and walked down the hall looking at each door until I saw the one that read 'Smith- interview room' well that's convenient I thought to myself Before knocking on the door.

"Come in." I heard from the other side I opened the door slowly and saw two men one sitting down in a chair across from a couch and the other standing.

"Hi, I'm Lacey Parker." I said walking in closing the door behind.

"Hello, I'm Mr.Smith. Here have a seat." He said shaking my hand and pointing to the couch. I sat down and said a small hello to the other man sitting in the chair opposite me.
