"Loki..." Thor walks up to him and looks him in the eyes. "Is this really happening?" He asks.

"It is." Loki answers.

Thor laughs, in joy, and pulls Loki into a tight embrace. Loki laughs back and hugs back, as well.

When they pull away from each other, Thor cups Loki's face in his hand. He smiles at him. "Its a miracle." He states.

"It is." Loki states back and looks to his father. "Father."

"Loki, my son." He stands to his feet and opens his arms, to say come here.

Loki walks up to his father as he embraces him. "My son, my son is alive." Loki hears his father whisper. He then pulls away and looks Loki over. Then looks to his oldest, Thor. "Both of my boys are back." He states with joy.

"Back? Where were you?" Loki asks looking at Thor. But then looks around and notices his mother is no where to be seen. "Where is mother?" He asks. Both Thor and Odin look down and away from Loki's face. "Where is she?" He asks again.

Odin is the one to answer. "Loki, the day we lost you; Thor came back to Asgard to give us the grave news. Your mother had been waiting at the gate for you boys, when she saw Thor return without you, she asked about you, Thor had to tell her." Loki looks to Thor, who was still looking away. "She couldn't take the news." Odin states.

Loki turns back to Odin, in horror. "She's not...." he couldn't finish his sentence.

"I'm sorry my son, but the same day we lost you, your mother died in my arms. She couldn't take the news." Odin explains.

Loki looks from Odin to Thor, both confused, lost, and scared. "Mother died.....because of me?" He asks.

Thor is the one to answer this time, running up to Loki, cupping his face in both his hands, and with a soft but stern voice. "You did not kill mother. You are not responsible for her passing." He states. Loki tries to get free from Thor, tries to walk away, but Thor doesn't let him get away that easily. "Loki-"

"Just let me go." Loki interrupts and storms out of the throne room.

"Father, I shall go and speak with him." Thor states and heads out of the room. But before he can get to the door, Odin tries to stop him.

"No, we Just give him some time." Odin states.

"He needs to know." Thor states. He exits the room and goes off to find Loki, which was easy since he was at the place their mother and him met at almost every day.

Loki doesn't notice as Thor approaches him. He's to intrance by the fountain that holds so many memories of his mother and himself.

"Loki..." Thor finally finds his voice. "There's more you need to know." He explains. "I thought you dead."

"Did you Mourn?" Loki asks, before Thor could finish what he was saying.

"I never stopped." Thor answered as he took another step closer to him.

"What happens to us now?" Loki asks, looking up with those sad and pained eyes.

"I don't know..." Is all Thor could say now. But he pushes through, knowing Loki had to hear This. "Loki, I have fallen For another." He states, earning a more pained look from the other god.

"You what?" Loki asks. "Is it that mortal named Jane?" He also asks.

"Aye." Thor answers, sadly.

Loki looks away, anger flamming up.

"But remember, I thought you were dead " Thor states again.

"Just leave me alone." Loki growls and pushes pass Thor, storming off.

Thor reaches out, trying to stop him, but failed.

"Loki please!" Thor pleads but earns a wave of the hand, from Loki.

A week passes and Thor nor Odin have seen Loki, they know where he is, locking himself in his chambers, but haven't seen him.

Thor gets this feeling there is something that isn't right.

Thor decides to go an try to speak with Loki.

He knocks on the door, there's no answer, so he tries again. Instead of hearing a word, he hears the door unlock.

He steps inside, noticing the mess. Things lay shattered, broken, and tipped on the floor.

He then looks over to the furthest wall and sees a very destroyed looking Loki. "What happened?" Thor asks, looking around some more.

"I lost my temper..." Loki answers, dully.

"I see this." Thor responds, still looking around the mess, making his way over to Loki.

"Then why did you ask that stupid question?" Loki mumbles, looking to the floor.

"Loki, what has happened to you?" Thor asks. He notices the blood. "You're bleeding." Thor points out. "Let me look at it."

"No..." Loki rejects but chuckles then slowly and lazily lifts his head up. "What's happened? Oh well let's see I'm sitting here losing my mind all because I killed mother and the one person, besides her, that I loved has fallen For a mortal." He turns to look away. "But you already knew that." He adds.

"Loki, Just let me explain." Thor pleads.

"Get out." Loki demanded.

"Lo-"

"Just go..." Loki growls. Thor unwillingly nodded and made his way out the door.

Loki sits and waits till he's certain Thor has actually left, and then, he inhales, leans off the wall. "awwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"  Yes, he screams. He then slumps back against the wall, letting his tears flow.

Thor hears it and wonders if he should go back. But He decides its best if He doesnt.

"Everyone is abandoning me...betraying me..." Loki mumbles to himself. "Sure, they thought I was dead. But..." Loki felt something starts to creep into his heart, Something dark.

A huge grin appears on his face and he chuckles, sounding like a mad man.

Thor walks with a heavy heart, once again, losing his brother not just to death but once again in the feelings of love. Now Thor can only think of how he has let himself fall for Jane instead of looking for Loki, who was obviously still alive.

"Any luck?" Odin asks Thor as they dine in the great hall.

"None father, he would not hear me out." Thor answers as he takes barely any of his food.

"Give him sometime. The things he must have been through and coming home to such horrible news must have toll on him that we cannot help to lift." Odin whispers, placing his hand on his sons shoulder.

Thor just nods and thinks of what he will now tell Jane, if he ever remembers to go see her again.
