Chapter 1 _ Can I trust you?

Jasmine's P.O.V.

- - - I parked my car in my usual spot, and climbed out grabbing my bag. I saw lingering eyes as the spotted the girl who got suspended for kicking a guys ass, a guy twice her size I might add. I made my way up the stairs that lead into the entrance of the school, pulling my I.D out and showing it to the nice officer in the front. I smiled at him then walked directly towards the principles office. I didn't even bother knocking I just opened the door, only to find the secretary on Mr. James desk with him having his hand up her shirt. I slammed the door shut, it clearly caught there attention because they pulled away and looked in my direction.

I smiled sheepishly, "Sorry, was I interrupting something?"

He shook his head and Ms.Wells got of his desk fixing her skirt and buttoning up her shirt, she huffed and pushed passed me and out the door.

"Damn it, Stevens how many times do I have to tell you. Knock!" He sat down in his chair and pointed to the one in front of him.

I took a seat and crossed my left leg over my right one, and crossed my arms over my chest. A wicked smile formed on my face, "Oh, yea I forgot, maybe you should try locking doors."

He simply shook his head, "Why are you even here, Jasmine?"

I rolled my eyes, "I'm here to let you know that I better not see that little boy in any of my classes."

"I'm sorry Jasmine, I can't exactly change his classes all last minute." He said picking up his pen and started clicking it.

I raised my eyebrow at him, "Then change mine."

He shook his head, "Okay, but you can't start today, I'll change them today and you can start next week."

I sighed, "Okay, but just so you know, if I end up in here today. You better not suspend me again, its your fault."

I stood up and grabbed my bag, walking out of the door and out of the office toward my locker. I pulled out my phone, opening my Facebook and reading my notifications. My phone was snatched out of my hand, I snapped my head towards the anonymous person. Suddenly a smile came onto my face as I instantly recognized the pretty hazel-green eyes looking down at me.

He smiled, "Hello, Jasmine."

I licked my lips, "Hello Roger, what brings you around here?"

He chuckled, "I came to see my beautiful girlfriend." He grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him. I let out a soft gasp as his lips met mine and my arms reached up to wrap around his neck.

He pulled away and I smiled, "I hope your girlfriend didn't see that, she might get a little jealous."

He shook his head and grabbed my hand putting my phone in it and the intertwining his fingers with mine, on the other. I locked my phone and put it into my back pocket. He pulled me in the direction of our class. We walked inside only to have this small figured girl with crimson eyes walk up to us. It was very clear from her strong features and dark red eyes that she was indeed a vampire.

She smiled up at Roger, "Alayna told me to tell you that she needs to speak with you once you get home this afternoon."

He rolled his eyes, "Of course she does, well I'm bringing someone over tonight so let her know that I can't do that."

The girl sighed and turned around walking to her seat. We made our way to our seats in the back of the class, right before the bell rang signaling that classes came to a start. The teacher walked in and started the lesson. Classes went by quickly, before I knew it, the bell for lunch rang. I gathered my things and made my way to my locker, where I knew Roger would be waiting. He was standing with his back against my locker on his phone.

I walked up to him and cleared my throat, "Babe, I need to put my things away."

He nodded and stepped away from my locker, I opened it and put my books and my bag inside. He wrapped his arm around my waist and guides me down the hall towards the lunchroom. We walked in and he walked me to our table and kissed my cheek before going to buy our lunch.

I turned towards our group of friend and smiled, "Hey, guys."

Everyone smiled back except Allison, Roger's ex girlfriend, she simply rolled her eyes, like always.

Roger came back and sat my salad and my water in front of me, before sitting down next to me. I smiled at him and he smiled back kissing my cheek before picking up his pizza and taking a bite. I ate in silence listening to our friends gossip about the school dance that was coming up.

The bell rang and I got up along with everyone else, we tossed our trash and Roger grabbed my hand pulling us towards our next class. He dropped me off and made way to his own. I walked in only to be welcomed by lingering eyes, suddenly a girl with her black hair and golden brown eyes walked up to me.

She smiled,"Hello, your Jasmine right?"

I nodded, "Yes, and you are?"

"I'm Rachel, Roger's cousin. I was wondering if you would mind trying to convince him to talk to his sister. It's really important, life and death important." She let out a breath.

I smiled, "I can try no promises, though."

She smiled, "Thank you, Thank you. All you can do is try, he is very hard headed after all."

I nodded, the bell rang and I took my seat in the back of the class. The rest of the day passed by really quick, I sat in my last period tapping my pencil on my desk to the beat of the music playing on my earphones. The bell rang signaling the end of the school day. I grabbed my book and walked out of class. I walked towards my locker and opened it, I put my book in and grabbed my wallet and my keys.

I turned towards the door only to walk into a small petite girl, with red hair and blue eyes. She stumbled back and hit the door, causing her to drop all her things on the floor. She muttered something under her breathe, in what seemed like another language.

I bent down and grabbed her bag and her now broken phone, "I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there."

She took her stuff and just shook her head side to side, "No, no, if anything I'm sorry."

I smiled at her "Lets just call it quits, by the way, I'm Jasmine."

She smiled and extanded her hand towards me, "Chloe. I know who you are, it would be weird if I didn't."

I raised an eyebrow, "how so?"

She giggled, "I'm Allison's little sister."

I nodded , an a small smile formed on my face, "alright sweets, so ill see you around then."

She nodded and stepped around me and made her way down the hall. I continued my way to the parking lot. By the time I arrived it was nearly empty. Only a few cars here and there from the athletes or club members. I noticed Roger's car wasnt there, but he was standing at my car on the drivers side with a goofy smile on his face. I approached him and he extended his hand for my keys. Rolling my eyes I handed them to him. He smiled and unlocked it pushing me towards the passenger side. I slipped in after him and he started to car, causing my music to blast out of the speakers. I turned it down and he pulled out of the school parking lot driving towards my apartment.

Alright guys so.... this is chapter 1. I know I introduced alot of characters in this one. but I can say a majority of them will be characters that appear further on in the book as well so keep them on mind.

So should I continue or just leave it. I need feedback, opinions.
