Loved You First

Chapter Five

-Niall-

As I get ready to go out to Jonny's with Piper and the lads, I get a bit nervous. What if Piper notices that I have eyes for Bella? Will she hate me? Oh well. No use worrying about something I can't control. I grab my car keys, and head out to my living room. I do a double take to the couch. There on the couch, is Louis, Eleanor, Harry, Bella, Zayn, Perrie, Liam, and Danielle.

"How'd you get in my house?!" I shout.

"We'll never tell," Louis says with a grin. They all smile, and get up. We all go out to the cars, and head to Jonny's. When we get there, I see Piper inside waiting. We walk in, and greet Piper warmly. We all take a seat, and look at the menus. I decide on the stuff I want to order, and put my menu aside. I try not to look at Bella, and focus on Piper. This is our "date" after all.

"So Piper, do you attend a uni?" Bella asks.

"Actually I do. I'm studying to be an orthodontist," she says proudly. Proudly? How could she be proud of such a thing?! She wants to torture innocent children by giving them braces! I'm losing more and more interest by the minute.

"You vile woman!" I blurt out accidentally. Bella and Louis bust out laughing the minute the words exit my mouth. As if they knew I was going to burst.

"Niall!" Liam yells.

"What did I do?" I ask innocently. They all give me looks, except Louis and Bella because they're still laughing. They stop laughing, and then look a little scared. I look at where they're looking, and see a distraught Piper.

"What's so wrong with wanting kids to be more confident in their smile?" she asks, tears in her eyes.

"Piper, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it," I say.

"Gotcha!" She busts out laughing, and I just sit there like, huh?! I catch in to her laughter, and soon enough, we're all laughing like maniacs. We get a lot of looks, and plenty of terrified glances from children. Bella actually falls out of her chair, she's laughing so hard.

"Oh my god Bella, are you ok?!" I almost yell, rushing to help her up. I help her up, and see that Piper has stopped laughing. She excuses herself to the bathroom, and runs off.

-Piper-

He never liked me. He has the hots for Annabella. Whenever I've been clumsy and fallen, he's never been like that. But she fell down laughing and he rushed over I her like her life depended on it. It's obvious. Right as I finish washing my face, Annabella walks in.

"Hey, are you ok? Niall told me to check on you."

"I'm fine. But I didn't like what you just pulled," I snap.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Your little falling off the chair so he'd rush over and help you up in front of me!" I shout. She looks really confused by now. "I know he likes you. He doesn't do that with me. You know what no. I'm not gonna stand for this! Stay away from Niall!" I storm out of the bathroom, and make up some excuse to leave. Niall doesn't look the least bit upset that I'm leaving.

-Bella-

When Piper stormed out, I was left really confused. I walk out of the bathroom, and see Niall waiting for me.

"Hey, Harry went out to the car, and he told me to wait for you."

"Do you know what just happened in there?" I ask. He looks really confused.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, your girlfriend just threatened me!"

"She's not my girlfriend. I'm in love with someone else."

"Wha-" I'm cut off by his lips on my own. At first I try to struggle, but eventually I give in to the kiss. Just as I start to kiss him back, someone interrupts us.

"What the actual fuck?!"
