The thick silver metal traced another outline along your abdomen, the point of the knife sticking in deeper at some points, carving, drawing along your skin. "no, no, no" you whimpered "no" a tear escaped your eye, falling lightly down your cheek, the salt stinging the open cuts laced across your face.
More blood came spilling from your insides, joining the large amount sprawled across the concrete floor. The tall demon stood in front of you now, his weapons had been moved aside to the tin table with rusty wheels.

However that was not the end of your torture, now his calloused hands slapped your face back and forth ten, twenty, damn well fifty times. The burning sensation which filled you from head to toe was only encouraged by the next method of pain, fire.
Tongues of orange and red bounced towards you at an alarming rate causing your heart rate to speed up followed by your breath. As the powerful flames made direct contact with your skin you screamed as loud as you could. You just kept screaming. All you wanted was to be unaware of the current happenings, to be taken by a dark abyss but this was hell and there was no escape from hell.

All of a sudden it went quiet, dark and wary. Your hands instinctively crawling up your body to hold your head, the blood still coated your body now mixed with sweat and burns. No amount of convincing would make you believe it was the end, there was never an end.

Then you felt it, the hard and tough bricks brushing against your elbows which were still supporting your arms from behind your head.

"NO, NO, PLEASE NO," you begged, the walls began closing in on you, your breathing became irregular and your sweat made you wince in pain as it slipped across your tender skin. It was pitch black and you tried so god damn hard to find an exit but the walls just kept caving in on you. Your last attempt for help was to call "SAM? HELP PLEASE NO, HELP!" You called, desperate cries escaping your mouth.

"Y/N?" Sam called, immediately leaving his place in the library to come to your aid, his head rushing with scenarios of what could be happening to you, god only knows a shapeshifter, demon but one situation particular never passed through his mind, a nightmare.

He kicked open your door not bothering to knock, gun gripped tight in his hands and determination muddled with courage spread across his face. "Y/N?" Sam question, staring at your stirring body tangled in the sheets, your tear stained cheeks and strangled cries made it evident that you were having one hell of a nightmare.

He ran over to your restless body and called your name again while gripping your shoulder tightly with one hand and his other moving to cup your wet cheek. "Y/N? Baby? C'mon," he pleaded.

Something clicked in your head, a voice, a familiar voice often associated with home. "Baby, I'm here it's okay," the voice called.

Sam shook you lightly and with that your eyes jolted open. When you saw Sam sitting there his eyes full of worry and sadness you instantly broke down crying again, this time not accompanied with the physical pain.

He pulled you into his warm embrace so you were now in a sitting position he held your head under his chin while rubbing soothing circles on your back, a working remedy.

His voice whispered sweet nothings into your ear, small sayings of reassurance "it's okay baby, I've got you, it was just a dream" your hand was curled in his now tear stained t-shirt. You pulled your head out resting your forehead against his.

His lips upturned into a small smile slightly showing those small dimples you had come to love. "baby, I'm here" he whispered, his hand traced the outline of your jaw, his eyes following. The hazel colour was eye watering in the dim light of your room. His eyes flickered back to yours. "Hell?" He questioned. You nodded in response the flashbacks hitting you at a rapid pace.

You exhaled a sharp breath which you didn't know you had been holding.

"Hey," Sam chuckled "breathe," you laughed quietly before laying back down.

Sam crawled over your body and hopped under the covers his hand slipped around your waist inching you closer to him. He cupped your jaw and kissed you softly. His delicate and plump lips felt like home. The place you often craved for.

"I'm here, believe me when I say this," he smiled "you're safe with me."

"I believe you," you replied before resting your head on his firm chest, listening closely to his breaths and thinking nothing but happy thoughts as you slowly drifted of.

"I love you baby." Sam said softly in your ear.
