Italy. When you think of it you think of a sunny evening with someone you love as you walk into restaurants that were parked at every corner. As for this girl, she had none of those things. It was raining down on her little apartment on a lazy Saturday morning, her hair tangled and matted as she snored. Originally she was supposed to be going out for some groceries so her mother didn’t have to but the bed seemed to pull her deeper into the lull of a lazy young adult. Besides her Youtube account, this was her favorite hobby. But it’s not like her mother knew of her Youtube career, or whatever it was, which was why she had to sleep in so late [according to her]. Another alarm sounded as she fumbled with the clock.

Suddenly the beast rose from her slumber with an unhappy groan from her throat, she hated mornings…especially on Saturdays. Running a hand through her hair she saw that there was a yellow sticky note on her forehead. Typical. ‘Of course she would…’ She thought a frown upon her lips as if it was expecting something to make her morning worse than usual. Peeling it off, she read what it said:

Good to know that you’re finally up before noon. I’m at work and breakfast is on the counter….don’t skip breakfast. Like it or not you’re still growing.

XoXo

Mom

“Love you too Mom.” She said quietly as she suddenly rolled out of her cocoon of covers. Managing to sit crosslegged on her bed, she yawned as she slid her laptop out of the depths of the mass of clothing on the floor. This was like a mini ritual for her; she had to see what was going on online before she could do anything productive. As her computer took forever to load, as she thought of the comments that must be pouring in by now. To be blunt, she was really making a name for herself on Youtube. She never was a very popular kid throughout highschool and she found that the newly formed attention made her finally feel good about herself. She posted videos every day, she did everything from playing games like Slender to doing hair tutorials to even dabbling into singing. In short, she was just a happy girl doing videos even if there were trolls that lurked in and out of her page. She smiled as she checked her comments, there was a 5o/5o ratio from good comments and the bad. She hummed along as she read comments; there were never this many comments on just one video. Was something wrong? Quickly her eyes darted across the page.

ROSE GO MEET THE HAYDENADOR! Please! It would make us all happy if you guys finally met!

There was a little blue link linking her back to his page. Her deep brown eyes widened a bit, since everybody seemed to be saying she needed to meet him so they could do videos together. Of course Rosaria was more than curious. Pursing her lips, a pink fingernail slid across her computer and hit the link. He seemed...well rounded. He didn’t boost the overconfident personality nor did he look like he was as socially awkward as she. Rosaria could see the similarities between the two Youtubers. The thing was, she was shy and awkward in the real world but on the internet…when she was ‘RoseyToesie’ she was a confident funny girl that just loved life. Which made her think twice about talking to him, what about if he saw the real her and didn’t like her as much? That’s when she instantly started thinking of a game plan. It was a simple one, execute it and she should be good.

Step one : Be Roseytoesie…not Rosaria.

With that thought boiling in her mind, she kept herself busy by looking at some of his videos, she wanted to meet him...maybe. He seemed nice enough to want to meet. But she had to think it over breakfast. She clicked on Skype, wondering if she should call but beforehand she sat there, fixing her hair and applying make-up to her tired face since she stayed up all night playing games. But then she frowned, this little perplexed 19 year old had no idea what she was going to say. Eh, she would wing it...like everything else in her life. She decided just to leave Skype open just in case she wanted to later, as for now she need to feed the blackhole that was her stomach. As she quickly ran into the bathroom, her grey cat sat on her bed. It was a curious cat so it was looking at the computer's camera with its head tilted to the side...suddenly the cat clicked on the Skype button and it started calling him. The cat, by the name of Cress, being a cat just sat there watching it.

All this time Rosaria was going down the steps to get some toast. That was what her breakfast was when her mother was at work on the weekends... which was every weekend nowadays. The apartment was comfy, being separated from the other buildings since the owner wanted the feel to be ‘Homey’. She sung a little tune, embracing her mother’s ability to annoy people with her constant noise.  Talking about her mother, she wished she was here as much as Rosaria hated to admit it. She needed her mother, hating to be alone even if that meant that it would be easier to record a new video.

Even though she looked awake, she definitely didn’t feel it. After waiting around for her stupid toast, she got it half burnt and went into her room.

He, Hayden, of course picked up and the cat was just sitting there. He had on a little argyle sweater since she liked to dress him up. The cat pawed at the screen, mewling all the while as a very confused guy stared at the screen with a smirk on his face.

"Hi?"
