{Angel}

Blood and screaming.

My ears rang as I felt the sticky warmth slowly incase me further. I choked on my own breath too weak to move. His voice was fuzzy and my concentration was escaping me, the more I tired to focus the further away I'd escape. My life had been a living hell for all eleven years I've been here, all of it except one fallen angel that came to my rescue.

Nixon.

~~~~~
I rocketed from my sleep gasping and my clothes clung to me with sweat, I gulped letting the fear ebb away while Nixon slept beside me. Looking out the window the sky was still black and the lamp beside Nix flickered at the lightning. I sunk back down in the bed after I flicked the lamp off and clung to Nixon his body warming my shivering one, he wrapped his arm around me like he knew I was freaking out, I hate storms and hospitals.
"Angel are you ok?" Nixon's voice slowly melted the fear away and I nodded in the darkness not sure if he saw me, but he gripped me tighter to him. I welcomed it as I clung to him, absentmindedly I reached for my neck making sure the locket was secured there. my finger traced the introket cursive K, the diamonds all still there. I clutched it and sighed shakily finally closing my eyes and welcoming the dreamless sleep.
~~~

I woke up and showered, it was now Saturday and I have no fucking clue why they started school on Friday but I was glad they did, too much happened.

Way too much to cope with.

As I washed the shampoo out of the ends of my hair the tattoos became visible, I stared at them willing all of it to go away, but it didn't, it never did. It couldn't

I sighed and finished my shower quickly, not wanting to look at them any longer. I slid all my bracelets on my wrists effectively covering the tattoos and other things. I dressed in worn and torn light blue skinnies with blood red ankle converse and a Asking Alexandria tee. I slid on one of Nixon's many hoodies and walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Elena stood over the stove cooking, and Jaxon sat at the table, his head on it.

I veered to the island and took a seat, I stared into the Caramel and brown swirling marble and sighed looking at the dark grey tiled floor, the dark cherry wood cupboards and cabinets stole my interest as I tried not to think about the dream. They were back. I knew they were as soon as I woke from my dream. I'd have them for a couple months and then they'd leave for a few months, a year, two years always returning randomly. I sighed and a plate of pancakes were set in front of me, I smiled at Elena and she smiled back.

"Thanks mom." I said quietly and stared at the food. She kissed me in the forehead and pulled my chin up so I met her eyes.

"Your Welcome Sweetheart." her green eyes pierced my blue ones and I smiled softly, she knew the dreams were back. I nibbled my pancakes plain and she slid turkey bacon onto my plate and gave me a glass of Sunny D. Nixon came down in pajama pants and a hoodie that had Tristone across the chest. He plopped next to me and rested his head on my shoulder. He yawned and sighed sleepily, his eyes were open lazily and he stiffened when Jaxon stepped into his line of vision. Elena noticed and cocked a brow at the boys.

"Ok, boys what's going on?" she asked her arms laced across her chest. Jaxon looked at Nixon, his eyes sad and guilty. "Boys?" she pressed again. Nixon stood and ran upstairs ignoring his mother's calls
