*Ace's POV*
I can't believe I just did that, I can not f*cking believe I shooed my own mate away for a slut! WHY!?
Pfft. You deserved that, but I want mate back. Her hair was beautiful, eyes were gorgeous, and you CHASED HER OFF! Chase started blabbing on about how perfect she is and I just blocked him out, I immediately tell the trackers and Hunters to find her and where to find her sent . Jen snapped me to my senses by starting to kiss me, I shoved her off and went to talk to Charlie who is in the living room. As I entered Jen spun me around to face her, "Baby, did that little whore break you? I can fix that." Jen then tried, key word tried, to cling herself to me. This girl is just so desperate, I let out a low, dangerous growl causing her to back down. How dare she speak about my beautiful mate like that! "Charlie, I-I ummm...... got some bad news." I state knowing it was his responsibility, and I completely, totally and absolutely am not helping.
"Why do I have the feeling that this has something to do with Snowdrop and Star?" He questions. HOW DID HE KNOW?!
"OK..... One yeah, I am sorry in advance. Two How did you know?" All I can think about right now is. WHY!
He is questionably glaring at me. "Dude, Star walked out the door with....... their..... bags.....packed....!!! WHAT DID YOU DO? Drake is going to kill me!!" Charlie is now trembling with fear. Wait, did he say Drake?
"Drake, as in White Winter Animal Shelter Drake? My dad's old beta?" I question. He nods at me and I just thank him, walking over to the training grounds to notify my Delta/ Third in command that I am heading out.
Drake and my dad go way back, they used to be really close. My dad told me of how he was always there in his time of need, that was until he decided after seeing many orphan, wild, baby animals near our borders. I change into my dark blue coat and head out to the shelter.
*Snow's POV*
Star and I were nearing the boarder of the pack and I saw 2 of Ace's guards come at us, he must of sent them after me. Then I notice their target was not me, I followed their eyes to see what they were aiming at. Star. I can't use my magic because it is taking the energy I have left to cover my sent, and my magic was drained from earlier. I throw my pack onto Star and bark at her to go up the trees and head to Mabel, she turns at me with sadness in her eyes and runs for help.
"Shift!" Said guard 1 with the brown eyes, guard 2 has green eyes. I shift for them so Star can escape, I am hoping she doesn't come back for me. I don't want her to get caught.
"You better come with us if you want your fox to live, we could always call our hunters and say she stole something valuable." Spoke green eyes, his grin is filled with mischief. They come over and grab both of my arms, then pick me up and head towards the side of the pack house. Aren't they suppose to take me to Ace? As if reading my thoughts brown eyes spoke.
"The Alpha is out at the moment, we are going to place you in the prison cells. Don't you worry your white little hair about it though, nobody will know your down here. We want a reward so we plan to keep you and change your appearance so he won't recognize you." They started dragging me down through the basement doors located on the right side of the pack house. Brown eyes puts me in the farthest cell, walking past 7 rogues 3 children and 3 teenagers, chains my wrist with silver and heads out to get something. I try to move around put the silver won't let me, if you are wondering why the silver doesn't hurt me it's because on contact my skin puts a thin layer of ice on the spot where the silver is touching me.
He comes back with a needle filled with and iron/platinum colored liquid which I am guessing is wolfsbane, jokes on him my blood will literally freeze it and sucking out the deadly nutrients and disposing them before putting it back into my blood stream. The most annoying thing about this is that I have to pretend to be hurt so they don't punch or kick me, Star will be able to feel the pain and run back.
What I don't realize as he injects the needle is that I need to rest, and before I know it I was out like a light.
*Star's POV*
I need to keep running, I have to keep running. Snow wouldn't want me to come back alone, so I am getting Mabel. She lives in White Witch Forest which is a 1 weeks travel with the proper supplies, in which I don't have so 2 weeks tops. Taking shelter from the leaves under neath my paws, I jump from branch to branch. Hold on Snowdrop, I am bringing the cavalry.
*Drake's POV*
Ugh, so much paper work. I hope Snow is safe, Charlie gave me his word. There has been a lot of things needed ever since the counsel decided to 'extend' their unwelcomed visit, I need to buy more amulets, up staff, and now I have to take care of ALL the animals. After about 15 minutes of paper work the phone started ringing, I answered the phone with out looking at the ID.
"Hello White Winter Animal Shelter, this is Drake speaking how may I help you?" I am still doing paper work, and trying to remember where I put my pen.
"Hey Drake it's me, Ace. I am coming over to pay your shelter a visit, or rather you." That made me stiffen, isn't he the Alpha of the pack that Snow and Star are at? I have a bad feeling about this.
***Sorry for the wait in the update, I keep forgetting. Anywho, BYE***
